Direct Buy Retail

Was at my parents house over xmas and got two calls from this number.  It said Direct Buy of Lancaster, and was obviously a sales call.  The guy was pretty rude from the start.  I asked who was calling and he would not state where he was calling from or why he was calling.  I asked to speak to a supervisor and the guy hung up, then he called back right away.  I was not as polite this time.  He said that he was the supervisor and that "he most certainly would" call back because my mom called him.  He even started to provide a certain time and date.  I seriously doubt this because both of my parents are at work during this time of day.  Not sure what they were trying to sell, but it seemed pretty shady to me.

They are really annoying...I too had the same experience with rude sales people trying to tell me I contacted them.  They call several times in a day and never leave a message.  Sometimes if I answer which is rare, no one answers on the other end.

Today is 1/29/10, they have been calling nearly every day since 12/15/09 sometime 3-4 times a day.  I've never answered the call, and they have only ever left one message.  Very persistent, very annoying-I'll never go there.  Anyone know how I can block the number from my cell phone?

If this is from Direct Buy of Lancaster (as posted elsewhere on this page) they got my number when I signed up for a home makeover contest.  Then when they first called, they told me that I don't qualify for the contest because I don't have a job!  Why do I need to have a job to win a FREE makeover?  Why would they call me again since they know I have no money?  STUPID!

This number keeps calling 4-5 times a day. Can someone stop them!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too keep getting calls from this number. They call me at any time of the day and call many times. When i called back before to see who it was it went to a dial tone. I regret ever signing up for the free home makeover. I suggest to stop the calls to either call your wireless provider and ask to block calls from the number or if you have Verizon Wireless, go online to your account and block the number that way. Hope this helps! P.S Some people are just too annoying and dont get the point.

I'm getting the same calls these are some real jerks. Ever time you try to call them back it's busy. I think it's time to report them to the attorney general of Pa.

Have recieved several calls from this number. When I call back no one answers. So I answered and it was Direct Buy. Very rude and inconsiderate! What part of dont call me dont they understand!

Yea, the same with me. They call 5 times a day and never say anything when I answer. plus, its busy when i call back. 717-394-7257

This woman calls will not identify herself. Left a message that I have an appoint with her tomorrow.  I do not even live in the phone numbers calling area. phone # is 717-394-7257. calls came at 4:50pm, 6:30pm, 7:57 ,and just 8 minutes ago at 8:26 pm. when I try to return the call all I get is a busy signal.

Unbelievably abrasive. Just call your cell phone carrier and they can put a block on the number. After about 6 weeks of multiple calls per day that's what I decided to do.
