Got a text from this number, wanting to chat from "your bad girl"

I just got weird text message from this number from bad girl

Texts from "bad girl" coming in on lots of different numbers.  All are using "pinger.com", a service which gives you a number for free texting.  I got a text from a North Dakota number.  Seems to be a prank.

There are numerous threads with similar posts. I think people need to look into apps that will block texts.

Received several text messages from this number!  Do not know this person and would like to block calls and messages

Easy fix: Forward the texts to 7726. They will be investigated and blocked by your cell provider.

Problem solved.

Stop the bad girl, almost got in trouble with the wife. Had to explain its a scam.

Probably a new tactic by debt collectors!
