This is a scam call.  When I picked up a recording announced "A very important message to all senior citizens..." and then announcing some promotion.  When I called back, the call "could not be completed as dialed."

I also got a call from this number, but nobody answered and they hung up on me.

The first time the call goes through to make sure it is a valid number. This is not the first time I have gotten calls with the same recorded message. I wait until the end of the message and press the number to speak with a consultant. Once I get a live person on I blast an air horn into the phone. Finally got the message across to them- it only rings long enough to register on called ID now then they disconnect. I have repeatedly reported these calls to DNC and swear the number of these calls have increased since doing that, now I handle it on my own with the air horn. Amazing how well it works!

That is funny with the air horn method, I will use a cow bell now. Thanks.

Like everyone else, got a call. No message. They only get one shot with me. After that I block them with my Sentry. Works like a charm.

They hang up when you answer.

I got the same recorded call on my 94 yr old dad's land line. If he falls trying to answer 1 of those calls, I'll hunt them down like the dogs they are

Another call that didn't even show up on the answering machine, these things go directly to the "Missed call" list on our phone and don't even register.

I rarely answer, but on this occasion I picked up and no one answered. Would love to get a person so I could blow an
air horn in their ear.  Please say something so I can do that to you. I am so tired of these calls. Reporting them does nothing.

The government should enforce laws to stop these unscroupolous [***] for ripping off innocent people

If you have a speaker phone you can produce feed back with the speaker and handset on.  point the handset at the speaker until you get the sound.  Works like a charm but our dogs are not happy about it.

Find out who and where they are, get an address.  If they're really in the 717 area code, I'll be glad to pay them a visit that will stop all this crap.

get this call often. Never answer. they never leave a message but when I try to call the number I get a busy signal

Received three calls from this number within a 5 hr. period.  I say "Hello" and get no response so I hang up.  Very annoying.
