had a message just gave a name of Joe and the phone number. When I called back they were very ignorant when I asked the name of the company and said they would not be able to help me.

hey same thing happen to me.....called me at my work number called them back acted ok at first then i asked who he is and who he works for then acted like a punk [***]...i cant give you that information sir...and he called me i said what do you want and he acted like he didnt call goof..idiot

Yep, same here.  A very rude guy called 3 times in a row and then called me a douche.  I assume this is a collection agency with some extremely rude phone operators.

Some guy has been calling me from this number for a few months but I refuse to talk to him since he is so rude and will not tell me what company he is calling from. Does anyone know who these people are? When I search the phone number, all it will tell me is that it is a land line in Middletown, PA...nothing more.

Same thing here very rude called for my husband I called the number back and "joe" acted like a real [***]!

Received a phone call from "Joe" on my CELL PHONE from this number.  He left a message using my first name.  When I called back I was immediately asked for my name.  I asked them who THEY were because they were the ones who left me a message.  I requested to have my cell phone number removed from their calling lists, giving him my cell number.  He kept pressing for my name and asked for a home number which I would not give him.  When I was uncooperative with him, he put me on hold and I was transfered to "joe's" voicemail.  What can I do to stop these calls to my cell phone?  I have limited minutes!!!

This is the Peerless Collection Agency in Middletown, PA. They are rude and unprofessional.

Calls, gives no info about company only info the caller is named Joe. Is rude. Doesn't like being called back.

These people have been calling me for several days.. they do leave a message when I tried to call them back they wanted my social security number and more personal info.. and they will NOT tell me who they are or what company they are calling from needless to say I gave them NOTHING I do not know who they are. I don't want to be scammed.

"Michell Carter" left her name and this number with my daughter yesterday and asked that I call her back.  She also told my daughter that she would try to reach me at my work number.  My daughter had not given her that number as the lady seemed to be implying that she already had it.  I have not received a call at work.  I do NOT intend to call this person back.

The company is Service Credit Company, based near Lancaster, Pa. Their numbers are 717/702-2004, 717-702-2005, 717-702-2006. They had been calling my wife at work. She got sick of it. The man identified himself as Mike Sims. His receptionist is named Debbie. I called about 100 times. Gave them a little taste of their own medicine. They are an unidentified business. Probably sham artistsor bill collectors. They warned me the phone was being recorded. I told them to go ahead and record it. At first I gave them the name Agent Kurlie, then somehow they found out my real name. They said they had told my supervisors. So what?

This is Peerless collections.  They did the same to me over a bill I didn't realize I had outstanding...called my work, left a vm with a first name.  When I called back they refused to say who it was.

I did ask to talk to a rep who explained to me that it was their policy not to disclose who they are until they verify they are talking to the correct person.  It makes them sound very rude, but it is apparently their privacy policy.

I just received a call from this number at my work extention. I called back and received a quick hello from the receptionist and I asked to be transferred to Albert. It went to a voice mail that had no message...it only beeped letting me know to leave the message. I don't know who this is or what they want.

2 phones calls in 2 days. 1st from Ms Moore and the 2nd from Mr Myers and to call them back at the 702-2004 number. I am sorry but if you can not disclose your business name, then I can not do business with you!

I've goten some calls from this number I've called them back many times because if they call us we the right to find info in any way possible I've prank called them twice in one day. I think everyone who gets called by this number should call them and Annoy them. I am now doing it every day to get them to not call ever again. Please join me my fellow Americans citizens!!

They called me everyday so I've start to prank call them etc. We have the rights to know the company info and they won't release it so I say we should call them again and again till they stop so join me my fellow Americans!!!!

That would be Peerless  Credit Services rude Joe Rothermel.. He Harrasses people.. Someone needs to report him he is just awful

This man told my husband that "He needs to be a man and take care of his business" and also said that " I would expect more from you being a employer of the US Coast Guard" and when I called him to take care of the bill he kept hanging up on me cause I said " HE HAD NO BUSINESS TALKING TO MY HUSBAND IN THAT MANNER" What they do is break the law and Im ending it!!!

Alicia - I received a phone message from someone stating to call Mr. Meyers regarding a very personal matter at 717- 702-2004.  When I called the number they were repeatedly rude, and forceful about getting my information, but will NOT reveal who they are until they find out who you are.  Honestly it sounded like a scam....i mean seriously who in their right mind thinks that we should just give out information over the phone without knowing who we are talking to????  This company needs to be researched for their practices.  All I wanted to do it understand why they are calling me.

It is a violation of the FDCPA for the collection agency to fail to identify themselves or to provide the consumer with a contact address. This too is a reportable violation.
