I receive 10-20 calls a day from the same person(s) who leave this a the contact number for a CA police officer Harris.  The threats are difficult to understand especially since the people leaving the messages cannot speak English.  Definitely some kind of scam.  When I try to return the calls to the numbers on callerid, I am hung up on.

I got a message saying that an officer from Colorado had filed a complaint against me. Definitely a scam. Looking for social security numbers! BEWARE!

I got a call that the IRS is coming to arrest me unless if i pay him.This guy was posing as a federal officer with the name of John Harris. I found the carrier that he uses for his DID number.  I will give all then Info I have to the police.

I received a call and was told that the sheriff's office was going to sign off on an arrest warrant and I had to contact John Harris of US DOJ to find out what the warrant is for. When I called 717-889-1003 - Mr. Harris was in a conference. I called my county sheriff's dept and was told that they would never contact you to let you know about a warrant. This is scary and needs to stopped. They are terrorizing people..

The persons above obviously has had an issue with US Department Of Justice. They're probably calling you about your due payment with the company and when company press charges they call and notify the individual i was one of them. I forgot about the payment owe to a company Advance America and they try to sue me for more than $5000 but US DOJ called me before they file the charges to the court to pay what i owe and i cleared my due. I'm actually paying my last payment tomorrow to them. Thank you officer John Harris for helping me out.

Liar, liar, pants on fire!  Debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.  The DOJ is a Federal agency who is responsible for Federal law, not state or local issues.

Caller I'd was 911 emergency number. Man speaking broken English said an officer named John Harris filed a complaint against me. There is no reason I should be subjected to his harrassing phone message. The number he left was717-889-1003.

Pos called me stating to call John Harris that a warrent was being issued for my arrest for a pay day loan I never received and if I didn't pay $410 full amount I would arrested I called loan company they said scam I called police they said they never heard of him this guy is a scam artist who is very  stupid I asked for his badge number nd supervisors info to b told look it up online   SCAM SCAM BEWARE SCAM SCAM

What can I do he scammed me out of a 100.00and also told me if I don't have 519.00 by 5/02/2014 I will be arrested I first received a call from the palm beach Florida sheriff office and when I called it back I was called no one called me from there then I got a message from John Harris  and I name was 1-717-889-1003 what can I do about this because today 4-22-2014 I received a call from the same number and the message was from Mark Watson these guys are really scaring me

Why not call your local sheriff?  They will tell you this is a scam and you will not be arrested.  That $100 is gone.  YOU WILL NOT BE ARRESTED!!!!!  This would be a civil case IF you did actually owe money.

If you win, the judge can require the collector to pay you for any damages you can prove you suffered because of the illegal collection practices, like lost wages and medical bills. Report any problems you have with a debt collector to your state Attorney General’s office, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

This guy lol said he was calling from JPSO and his name from Sheriff Normand; he left me a message saying I had a complaint against my name; funny thing; I know what the Sheriff sounds like because I always see him on TV talking; this guy was not him; plus told me to call John Harris at 717-889-1003. I just love how they use magic numbers to get our local sheriff's number to call about and try to scare me; lol; not falling for it. I need to just change my number period. I'm already trying to figure out how someone got a hold of my SS#, account, etc; why does this happen? What is wrong with these people? So annoying and yes I have registered my phone number on the do not call list but I still get these numbers.

Is this the number for the Department of Justice? Since when do they collect payment with a Green Dot money card?

Guy with very thick foreign accent that I could barely understand half of what he said called today form my local sheriff's department phone number.  Without having listened to the voicemail first, I called them right away as I know people who work there.  I was advised that no one from the entire building had tried to call me as they keep a log.  I finally listened to voicemail who advised to also call John Harris from DOJ.  The best part is that the # provided is in PA but the DOJ is located in DC (per the website all phone #s are 202 area code unless noted and 202 area code is DC).  I requested proof of debt letter.  He denied me and told me charges tomorrow so subpoena will be issued for me to go to court on Monday.  I told him if he was really from the DOJ then he would know that justice doesn't move that quickly :)  Anyways, he then gave me a courtroom # (which my court doesn't have) and told me I would meet him there.  I told him I would be coming along with all bank records showing that I never received said loan (I obviously won't be going because he cannot issue a warrant for me anyways).

i got a message on the phone to call the local police in youngstown oh from 911 number then got the number 17178891003 and talk to jack hoffman and to turn myself in cos of a legal matter

I was told to pay for a payday loan if not they will be at my house in 3 hours to take me to jail 717-889-1003 his name was jack. He states Jailin is the officer that will come to my house i have to pay 120 n the remainer in 2weeks or i go to jail smh this is bull [***] and needs to be stopped.
