Received phone call on 2/15/2012
No message

Received a call today 2/23/12 - no message left  -  came in as  1-718-210-0307 (calls usually don't come in with a "1" preceding the number)

This number calls my work phone and cell phone at the same time, rings twice and hangs up...

I didn't answer the call, whihc I have been getting over the last few weeks, but a search of the Internet shows it belongs to MCI Communications.

This number has called me repeatedly. No message left. Called 2/17, 2/19, 2/22, 2/23, twice on 2/25 and again today 2/27.

same here - calls my office number every day and never leaves a message

they call twice a day every day ... and I finally called them back -  just to sit on hold and listen to their phony Brittish accents (coming from Brooklyn).  I hung up after 2 minutes and went to the NYC Better Business Bureau to fie a complaint

Just received one.  My cell phone started ringing and then it stopped after a few seconds.  Googled it and it came up as a landline in Brooklyn assigned to MCI Worldcom.

I answered the call. Whomever it was hung-up. There's lots of chatter and noise in the background.

Same thing , 2 rings and stop

Several reverse lookup sites claim to have the name of the company that owns this number, but none will give it up without being paid a fee. I might work on it some more tomorrow.

Keep receiving calls from this number for a month. I called back and it put me on hold until the voicemail picked up...left it a very discreet message to stop calling. We'll see...anyone know how to remove our number off their list?

did leaving a message work? or are they still calling?

they call pretty much every other morning between 7 and 9. i've been getting these calls for about a month. they don't leave a message. the one time i answered it was a heavily accented woman who told me she got a wrong number, but it sounded like she was in a call center. calling back just leaves you on hold indefinitely.  this has to stop!
