Someone keeps calling me from 1-718-289-2000 and keeps hanging up.
Total nonsense 7x in less than 5 minutes

I received call from this number like three times in 1 minute. Person continues to hang up. When I dial the number back, that dreaded automated voice says "your call can not be completed as dialed...". Who is this?

I've received the call today, a total of 3 times since 10 am. Who or what NYC agency is it?

We've been receiving calls from this number. 3 so far this morning. The first time the phone rang, the answering machine picked up and they hung up. About five minutes later, the phone range once, we picked up and the caller hung up. The third time we picked up there were a couple of clicks and then a busy signal.

Whoever it is continuously calls my number. They would call early in the morning, let it ring once, hang up, call back again. Will continue to do so up to 6 times in the morning, will continue to call throughout the day.

This number has called my house 5x already this morning all within the past hour. This is really ridiculous.

I have received calls also. Call ID just says city of ny. Called number and says call can't be completed as dialed.

Same problem, I've had them call this morning now like eight times! Tried calling back, but no luck, just a message saying call cannot be completed as dialed! If anyone is still monitoring this, did any charges appear on your phone bill later?

I receive a call from this number every morning at 8:20AM. No one is on the line and no one answers when I call back, instead I get "Your call can not be completed as dial".  I already registered it with DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, last week and since that takes a while before it's in action, the calls still come.  I called my carrier and they advised me that I can get the number blocked but I would have to pay them for the service.  I don't think so.  Or I could buy a phone that has a block option.  In any case I found out the phone number belongs to Teleport Communications Group within Brooklyn, NY whereas my number is programmed in to call every morning at 8:20AM.  The address is 850 3rd Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11232-1513 and the phone number is  (718) 768-1827 but when I call it, it is always busy.  I decided to buy a phone with a block option and in the meanwhile I take my phone off the hook at night and put it back after 8:20AM.

This number called me 12 times in less that ten minutes...then when I call the number back its out of service...

I keep getting calls from this number and when you answer the phone hangs up.. when you return the call the number is out of service..

This number keeps calling. When i call the number back, it is out of order.

I also get a call every two days from this number 718-289-2000 and all they do is hang up. The caller id says it's from the City of New York. They need to stop that nonsense and get a life.

this number keep calling my cell and home and keep hanging-up. when i return the you get this message call can not be completed as dial. on the calller id it reads City of New York, is not this a crime.THEY NEED TO KNOW WHO  IS MAKING THESE CALL ON CITY TIME AND MONEY BECAUSE SOME ONE IT PAYING FOR THIS.
