annoying caller... calls usually in the morning, then hangs up after ten minutes.

Just got a call from 718-351-9970, I picked up but said nothing, and they immediately dropped the line.
Then about 10 seconds later I got a call from 718-984-9970 (note - same area code and last 4 digits, but different exchange)
- same thing, no response, dropped line immediately on my silence.

Called both numbers back from a different line (just to give additional info here), both gave 'busy' signal.

They have been calling me twice a day. It's a home security advertisement; automated.

Just got a call from the (interrupting another call I was on, so I ignored). CID said VERIZON. Doubt it. If I want anything from Verizon, I know where to call.

Just picked up and hung up because the IDer showes: V70713245300115.  Knew it was just another bogus number and scammer.

Received Scammer/Harasser call from (718)-351-9970 Verizon Landline in Staten Island, NY ("Verizon" on Caller ID) on Tues. 7/7/15 at 4:11pm & no message on my unlisted phone number. Reported to DONOTCALL.GOV - I don't answer the phone to unwanted annoying Scammers/Harassers & must be stopped.

Caller ID spoofing. Google it.

Nothing to do with "Do Not Call." It's caller ID spoofing. Google it.

I'm on the no call list and get a call from this number which I did not recognize and did not answer. Apparently, it's a cold call. It needs to STOP

Did not pick it up, if Verizon wanted to call me they would call my cell.

718-351-9970 called my LL 9:51 AM (AZ MST) 7/8/15 CID read "VERIZON" but it was an automated pitch for 'home protection' - pitch automaton could not handle responses (& had been slow on pickup , after a twang on line when I answered) - certianally spoofed ID- possibly also #...

My caller ID came up "Verizon".  Blocked call #414 (two Panasonics), idiot call #808 in the past 25 months.  Caller ID "1" has called 56 times, 6 in one day, 12 on another.

A man called today and sounded like he was from India, had a Verizon caller ID most likely spoof, asked for one of my children by name and said he was from GE Security. I told him not to call back.

Got another call from these bums masquerading as GE. I have told them multiple times to stop and have reported them each time to the Nat. Do Not Call list since I am on it. Nothing works, they keep calling.

Received 2 calls, 3 minutes apart from this number. They said was GE ADT alarm systems and they were setting appointments for free security check. I asked why their number came up as "Verizon" on caller ID. They said there was something wring with their "servers" and they were using Verizon's. How dumb do they think I am? Said I wasn't interested and they called back 3 minutes later with same spiel.
