This person didn't leave a name he said he wanted the my lawyer to call him, if I didn't have them call him that I would have to pay the consiquence I left the message on my phone. I think it might be another scam with a different number.

Person of foreign descent told me I was selected for free money from the gov't and asked for my banking numbers to deposit the money. The caller ID showed the number to be a payphone! Please catch these vile criminals.

Called and wanted to tell me my computer has a virus and they want to fix it. Person who spoke english had a strong foreign accent (South Asian).

Caller stated he was calling from Windows PC Protection Center and that my computers was currently being infected with multiple viruses.  Caller knew my last name.  Funny that my computer was off and not connected to any network at the time.  Caller had foreign accent.

Wanted me to look on my computer because they had supposedly found (how?) several trojan horses on it. After trying to understand what they were saying for some time, I hung up.

They called asking for me by my last name...I asked whose calling..they took too long to respond so i hung up. How did they get my number?

Received call from 718 377-9189 Aug 26 @ 8:10 am answered and said hello  got no response they just hung up. Called back, said the number called is no longer in service. Really tired of these calls and I'm on a no call list!!!! So much for that helping.

I got the same call. I explained to him I was a professional hacker and would destroy his entire network. All of a sudden he was so apologetic. LMAO!

Just received call from 718-377-9189 stating that the company I got a loan from (?) wanted to press charges. I, knowing full well I haven't taken out any loans at all in the last ten years, told him to eff off. He called back cursing me. Told him to bring it if he felt lucky. No further calls yet.

Received call on a holiday Monday asking for me by last name only, caller with Indian accent said it was a MicroSoft Windows emergency. Said why not advise me by email, why not call during business hours, suspect a scam.

I got a call from the same number. Anyone have an address for this payphone?

Got a call from this number today at 2:40 PM, left a message, very garbled really didn't make any sense.  Heavy accent and the only thing I could make out was my name which sounded computerized.  A reverse search on the number comes back to Brooklyn New York, Odd since I live in the Toronto Canada area.  FYI, the microsoft scam is very large right now and yes people actually fall for it and allow remote access to these fraudsters keep a weary ear out for phone calls.

I got a call today 2011-11-29 14:23 EST.
The caller knew my first name and said he was Brat or Brad from Bell Canada.
I told him I did not take calls from Bell Canada and hung up.

BE VERY CAREFUL if someone will call you from these numbers: 718-377-9189, 630-694-1356 or 607-734-9189.

All those numbers belong to the same scamer. Please notice that persons you may spoken to has the same accent. This time the person called want to fix my computer and needs access.

Called me in Canada on 2011-12- 20. I picked up but I didn't say anything. They didn't say anything either and then after 10 seconds they hung up.

Just received a phone call from the same number.  Foreign accent, asked for me by my first name and when I kept saying what do you want he said he wanted to talk to a b - witch and a f-er.  It sounded very funny in his foreign accent.    718-377-9189

got a call today from thisn umber and no one answered. glad i didnt have to deal with their bullshhhhh.... caller id came up as payphone.

caller called saying i had picked up a virus on my computer, my computer was off at the time.

person of foreign decent called my home and tried to say he was from technical company and wanted computer information, knowing this was a scam as I am in canada, and have no dealings with US companies, I hung up, will be reporting this to police in my area
