I got a call from this number too.  Didn't recognize #, NY Area code.  Didn't answer, No VM.

Another site reports this is telemarketing "lowering your interest rates", blah, etc.

I'm in Washington, got a call from this New York number.  Recorded voice saying something about my credit card account.  Obvious telemarketer and/or scam.  I didn't wait to find out, and just hung up.

I received a call from 718-409-6624 to my cell phone!!
I am on the do not call registry but I have started receiving these from scammers!!
I would like to report this and get it stopped!! What else can I do?

Just got this call and when I said I'd call my credit card companies to verify, he called me stupid.  Also wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor/manager.  Worried though, he has my credit card numbers as he started to read them off to me.

I was getting several calls from 718 area code, all scams.  Blocked any calls from this AC to come through, don't know anyone there.

This number called me 7/22/14 @ 0943 Pacific Time to say "there are no problems with your current account, but please call to ask about lowering your interest rate". yeah right!

This number called me at 10:43 AM on July 22, 2014. My caller ID read Suny, Maritime.  When I answered, it was a pre-recorded message from "Account Services" regarding my eligibility for lowering my credit card interest rates.  The pre-recorded message instructed me to press 1 to speak with a representative.  When I did that, the call did not connect to a representative.  The message kept playing and then disconnected.  I know these guys are scammers.

Rec'd call on cell phone. Went to voice mail, no msg left. Likely scam. Another call recipient said his/her caller id showed Suny Maritime. A different call recipient from another site said this was a college in New York & the staff were trying to figure out what was happening. It appears these are scammers spoofing a real number issued to the college to try and elicit a call response. I am registered & have been for years on the Do Not Call Registry, but it seems ineffective as the number of scam calls I receive on all my phones has only increased.

I just received a call from this number "they wanted to lower my credit card rate".  The person hung up on me when I asked for the name of his company.

Claims to want to lower my interest rate on my credit cards. Funny thing is, I have no credit cards.

Got this call yesterday and rejected the call in my vehicle as I did not recognize the number. Looks like I did the right thing. I am also on the do not call registry. I do not have a credit card!!!!!!!!!!!!!

718-409-6624 called my Cell, 7/22/14 @ 9:27A.  i hung up in first sentence.  card BS...

The Do Not Call people say that telemarketers don't call on your cell phones..BS! I don't know what planet these guys live on but I'm not the only one getting these calls on my cell phone.
You can register all your phones on the BNC list through this phone number. You can only register one phone at a time. (888) 382-1222.
