I got a call from this number after talking to them this past summer and they told me I was qualified for a grant of 7,000 dollars. I had answered their questions which was not personal. They said that I could use it for anything I needed to. They said that the grant was through Government and treasury and financial aid. Yes they did say that I had to get a money card pack and then to call them back and they would put the money on the money pack, after this I am suppose to take the card to my bank and then call from bank on my phone telling them to transfer the money to any account I wanted them too and then get verification from bank then I could cut up card( money Pack) They also said that  it was a prepaid card that the money is put on. I called them back and got the same guy and I asked him for his name and he gave it to me. I asked him if this was for real or just another scam from Telemarketers LLC  and he said that under no circumstances were they a scam and then repeated the title of the above. Should I believe this or not? Take my chances?

Received a call from this number but when I answered they hung up.  I have received several calls about "grant" money from odd area codes from people I don't know, and I have since blocked the numbers from my phone.

It is a scam. Do not do this. They will have access to your bank account and will clean it out faster than you can ever imagine. You will have to change your accounts and talk to the fraud department. I would block the caller number.

Received a call from this number.  I couldn't understand the person answering as he had heavy accent.  When I asked who this was he just said "didn't I just say this is the federal justice office".  I hung up.

This is a scam.  I am a police officer and receive complaints from many people.  Please help report these numbers to the FCC so they can start blocking them from calling anyone.  This will no fix the problem but if it slows them down for a little bit, it could save some poor elderly person from giving away their life savings.  You can report them on www.1800donotcall.gov.  All these other websites are also great for quick reference to scam numbers.  I tell all my callers to google any number in question or to call me.  Thank you to all the people that have helped by already posting scam numbers.

You're still totally broke "jordan"! No one is falling for your pitiful scam anymore. You're nothing but a scrawny little scammer. What makes you even more pathetic is the fact that you're either Indian or Pakistani. You see "jordan", we know what you're paid. You "earn" less in a day than the average American earns in 15 minutes.
THERE ARE NO GRANTS!  This is just a very old scam being run by very low people who sit in call centers and think that stealing money is a real job. The people doing this are the people that used to be known as untouchables! They are out for your "deposit" money. Which is why they will need it to be paid by a pre-paid card (they'll need to know the numbers on it) or by wire. THEY ARE FRAUDS! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER!
    Be Safe. Be Aware.

Well I don't answer any telephone call where I do not know the identity of the caller. But it wouldn't do any good for them to tell me to go to 7-11 or CVS we don't have one within 150 miles.

Received multiple calls from this number, 718-473-0877; People with strong foreign accents reading a poorly-written text about how I have been selected to win a $7000 grant.
They say I will receive a number which I must take to a local CVS or similar business to claim my grant.
    Absurd!

Started getting multiple calls from this number.  When the answering machine picks up, they hang up. Did note that they seem to pick women to try the scam on and wonder if it's connected to the "Get Free" sites.  A few other calls of this type started when I started to use them.
