Hyco Electric company (not sure about the spelling) - a company offering to change your electric provider to them by offering a rebate up front.  They wouldn't even tell me how they got my name and number

This company calls to offer a $100 dollar refund for your electric service. When asked what are you selling? they say we are not selling anything. We show your utility account is in good standing and we are the provider of electricity in your area. We just need to verify your name address and account number to issue your refund check.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PPL YOUR INFORMATION! This is a PHISHING SCAM to get your information and switch your electric provider. They will send you a check BUT,, when you cash or deposit the check you will be verifying that you want your utilities switched to them (HAYCO) THEY WILL NOT SAVE YOU A DIME.!!
This is just one more THIRD PARTY PROVIDER SELLING GAS AND/OR ELECTRIC as per the DEREGULATION OF POWER AND COMMUNICATION ACT!

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORMATION!!! IT WILL COST YOU MONEY IN THE LONG RUN.!!!

I received two calls in a row from this number also claiming to be Heycoo Energy and offering a rebate. They asked me to get one of my energy bills to verify information. I refused, said I was not interested and the guy began arguing with me. He then asked if I wanted to donate my check. I hung up.  The caller ID says "Exacta International" which is a shipping company.

Being called twice a day from these people. Never leaving a message. Demanded to be taken off calling list and caller became argumentative.

Same story as above, offering to send a rebate on energy bill. Complete scam.

Very frustated, they call everyday even Sunday and won't stop calling even after I have told them I am not interested, do they think I will just give in? unreal!!!

Yeah this just happened to me. This company called my house at 4:48pm & tried to get my account number. I would not give it and hung up on them. I am not giving that information to you, I have never heard of your company. The customer service from my electric and gas company told us to never give our account number away. So I googled 718-509-9437 and found this web-site.

They just called me today, on sunday, can you believe it? and the guy started talking political fund raiser style,I had guests and send him packing, and still had the guts when was the best time to call. What a scammer!

Said they were from North American Direct Sales I think. Congratulated me for being a finalist in their million dollar give away and they just needed some information. I told them I wasn't interested and to take me.off their list. This is the second call from them. The third one will not be.pleasant.

Have multiple times before without ever leaving a message.
