I also have been receiving calls from this number.. It's been a woman, rather rude and aggressive, asking to speak to "the person that handles the National Grid bill." She hung up on me.

No message left. No company ID for the number on caller ID.

Based on what Alyssa and John wrote, this might be more of the scam that I've also experienced coming door-to-door, asking to 'look at your utility bill to see if we can help you save money' --  not.

I received two robo calls with a woman's voice. I know the Do Not Call Registry does not cover companies you deal with. But these are not service calls and should be banned.

I've also been getting these calls about National Grid....the guy who called me called me back right after I told him I was busy trying to get lunch. I hung up on the jerk. When I did a reverse directory search on the number it said the number is "Conversent Communications", whatever that's supposed to be. I did not fall for whatever these people are trying to do. I just wish they would stop calling.

Got a very strange call from this number on January 26. When I answered a man and a woman were having a conversation. Something about $19,000 and then a comment about a full nelson (wrestling). It was really bizarre. I kept saying "hello, hello" and they just kept talking to each other. Then finally the man said something like "and the people on the other end of this call can hear everything we're saying. The funny part is we're talking about them." It was very creepy.

A woman called wanting to know my rg&e billing number and if I was the person to talk to. I told her the owner had died and I was the house cleaner. She hung up. Hmmm, maybe a good way to get rid of these people. lol

Received a call from this number and thanks to 800Notes we did not bother answering this call.  Any caller that is Not Available on my caller ID receives the same treatment from us... not available.

got a phone call from this, or from whoever, no reply when I said hello, till about the third time when I was loud, and then got a "good-bye"!

Get the NYS Atty General involved.

ID is a string of letters and digits.
Scam or telemarketer.
