Called me to tell me I won a draw in which I had received a trip for two to either Mexico or the Bahamas. Proceeded to tell me about the trip I had won. He also told me if would cost me $299/person for services fees but all other arrangements, including my cruises and accommodations would be taken care of. After 10 minutes describing the trip he told me that they would be sending information on my trip and that they had needed a credit card in order to register me completely. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this travel company or anything because I'm concerned it is a scam.

I recieved a call from these people this morning... Guy by the name Giuseppe. Same deal, same story.  Was kinda pushy about getting a credit card number. I told him I'd wait for the package and do some research b4 I sent him (them) anything.  I'm gonna keep looking around and wait for my supposed package.  The thing that I wonder tho, is if it's a scam, how did he get my info.  I remember filling out a ballot for something like this a while back at a convention.

I recieved a call today.  I believe it was 718-713-3412 but I didn't answer that since I didn't recognize it.  I answered a call a few minutes later from a "private" caller.  I only answered it because my mother's cell phone shows up as private on my phone.  His name was Giuseppe.  Same old message.  He said I won a trip at a bridal show and said "aren't you excited!". 8 days, $299 a person...and look you qualified for an extra free car rental and an additional 2 days in ft. lauderdale (not sure on spelling). I was excited until I heard the credit card number that needed to be provided.  I said I would have to think about it with my fiance and needed a number to call him back.  He said no I will have to call you back.  I am in my early 20's and I consider myself a bit naivee so I wanted some advice.  I called my mom and she said absolutely not no matter what they promise!  Of course I would never give out my credit card but I can see how some people may fall for this scam.  When I asked him what company he was from he beat around the bush saying that he went through carnival.  He ended up saying the company was Travel Services...how original.

Just had a phone call from the same number, they called the other day but I didn't get to the phone in time, didn't leave a message.  Person was reading from a script, told me all about Bahama vacation, car rental, etc...like others commented above.  Kept asking for my credit card number to process the $299 charge in order to get the voucher "worth $2500".  Told him he wasn't going to get my credit card number, asked that he just mail the documents to me, he said he couldn't do that since the vouchers were worth $2500.

My fiance told me she filled out a form with my name and cell number at the Winnipeg Wedding Show, the caller said he got my info from the wedding show.  Very concerning.

They called back within an hour while I was at lunch.  They went on with their whole script which I didn't hear half of anyway "Have you ever been there? No? Oh, you'll love it!".  They asked me for the expiration date on my credit card and I told them I wasn't going to give them my credit card number.  They asked why not and I said I wasn't comfortable with it.  "You don't want the trip?"  Yes, I do, but I don't want to give you my credit card number over the phone.  "We're legit (that's what they said, legit, not legitimate like any professional company would), we're not trying to just take your money and run away with it".  Then they asked me to give them someone else's name and number who might be interested instead if I didn't want it.  Um, no I will not give you any of my friend's names and numbers so you can try and scam me, too.

Sigh... I wish I had won.  I could use a trip...

I just got the same call. On my lunch hour at work. I filled out a ballot at the Wonderful Wedding Show in Winnipeg. I got tired of listening to the guy so checked the number while he was rembeling and then hung up once I realized that he would be asking for my credit card number. Isn't is funny how we all won the same trip???

Just got the exact same call from phone #1-718-228-1762. Exact same story about winning a trip to the Bahamas, originating from Florida. We as for the rep's name and rep number, he quickly answered his name to be RAZ but had no answer for us when asked for his rep#. Took him a good 35-40 seconds and he came up with rep #3215. He also asked for credit card info for $299/person. We asked to speak to a manager and he gave the phone to the "Promotions Manager". she sounded really MAD when we declined after her 5 minute speech that sounded way too scripted.
    Everyone beware!!!

Yea i got a phone call at work saying that i won this trip to the bahamas and that everything is also ligit. They asked if i was excited and pumped to go on this trip. When i asked where they got my info from they said the Wonderful Wedding Show in Winnipeg. All i needed to pay was $299 dollars for the service fee and i would get $2500 to go on a trip. All i needed to pay for was my air fare. No deal. You can go on an all around trip for 2500 without even winning anything, airfare included. Looked up this number on the internet and found all these messages. What a joke. I hate how they try and scam people. Like dont bug me at work!!

I received a call from this number indicating that I had filled out a ballot at the Fishing and Boating show.  This was correct but I don't remember filling one out for a trip, just a cash prize as far as I recall.  Either way the guy went on clearly from a script about a trip that I had won.  The same as the previous posts, Florida and cruise to the Bahamas... $299 to "secure" my trip.  I was asked for credit card information and just told the guy I have no credit card.  I told him that I would go into a local travel agency to make the deposit and get my documents.  He said that he needed to secure the trip now and was very pushy.  I repeatedly affirmed that I indeed did not have a credit card.  He even had the nerve to suggest that I 3 way call someone to get their credit card number.  Either way he is apparently going to call back.  I would advise anyone to not give any information.  I didn't get a name and got an equally generic company name as the one above but I believe it was instead something else with Travel Services in the terminology.

And try to call the number back because it is constantly busy.

Same thing happened to me today.  I attended a bridal show this past weekend with my sisters and family.  We all filled out entry forms to win the trip to the bahamas.  I got the call, and was estatic.  However, the woman who called me said you checked off on the entry form that you have a major credit card, Visa.  I NEVER wrote down that I had a Visa card so that made me concerned about this.  She wanted my credit card information and I told her to call back later.  I work at a bank and see this happen all the time.  I knew better than to give my information like that.  I googled the phone number that called me and thank goodness I found this website with all of your posts on it.  I knew it was definitely a scam then.  I warned everyone who filled out an entry form about the scam, and my sister got a call later on from a guy with the same story.  She yelled at him, and said it was a scam, all he said was no it's not and then hung up.  DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

Got the SAME call today from a guy who said I won a Bahamas/Florida cruise. Sounded good at first, considering I did in fact fill out a form during a convention this past weekend. But I looked at the "website" he gave me, www.bahamasfloridacruisevacations.com, which doesn't even remotely look professioanl at all. I also found this post, thanks to everyone who said it was a scam. He's called me back 4 times and its getting extremely annoying. This needs to be stopped.

Also, I'm curious how he DID get my information? Was the booth I filled the ballot at a scam from the beginning? I might try contacting the convention I went to to see who it was.

They won't give up will they? I filled out a form at a beer fest and the guy has called all day. I answered once and told him I didn't have the time and they keep calling. They obviously aren't professional if they are calling at 9PM on a week night about winning.

They've been calling my cell from a series of different numbers.
I made the mistake of putting my cell number on one of those "win a vacation" drawing cards at the Atlantic City, NJ Beer Fest.

8-day Vacation to Florida and Naussau Bahamas with a "Discovery" cruise.
Plus (special just for me) tix to Universal/Disney/etc. a visit with "vacation ownership". All for $249/person with credit card reservation now.

I asked them to send the specifics via mail to the address on file. She said she could not, this was the only call and must have the reservation via Credit Card now or it's not valid.

When pressed for something where i could verify them, they said they have a website RTAvacations.com with phone numbers:
    1-800-231-1298 - nothing on google
1-800-238-2549 - collection agent, award center scam,

When pressed for a "confirmation" or "reservation" number i could use if i called back she told me that i wouldnt have one. I asked, "So how will they know which package is 'special just for me'? "  She told me she'd need to speak with a supervisor, and then said all the packages were the same and not to call any of the original numbers i gave her but this one instead: 1-800-206-5703 (actually is RTA vacations)

Note: rtavacations.com is a real website... but has no packages for Bahamas. and the prices are far different. Also myrtavacations.com/package-details.html  has similar details.. but enough differences (meals not covered, prices, etc.) that it might not be legit.

Just got a call from this number and it was the same story as everyone else on this page.  He said that he got my number from the Canada Blooms show that I was at last weekend.  He also wanted my credit card info to pay for the $299 deposit for the trip.  Everything seemed so sketchy about it, and he was so pushy.  Said that the cruise that I won was on Bahamas Celebration ship, seems like everything is just off about it.

same story happened to me this morning! The only difference is that I am the winner from Vancouver Auto Shaw....I did remember I wrote sth to win sth...but I remember the biggest prize I possibly can win is $10,000 instead of a 8-day trip to Bahamas. :P
