No one on the other line. Called twice now. My caller ID said ANDE INC.

Got a call twice this evening from this number.  The first time I answered & a person in a call center (I could hear all the other telemarketers in the background) asked to speak w/my wife.  When I asked if I could take a message, he hung up.  The number called back about a half an hour later.  When I answered again, the other line hung up imeediately.  I then tried to call the number, but got a recorded message stating that the number had been disconnected.

We keep getting calls from this number.  If you try to call it back it says it's out of service.

I received phone calls from 718-621-1400 twice yesterday and today. Each time I did not hear anyone speaking when I picked up. Today I called back but just hear that "the number you just called is not in the service" I an wondering who made the calls.

I have gotten calls from them before, too, although I never wait for them to say anything and I just hang up - the Ande thing rang a bell as I read this site, as I remember looking up the number.  However, they are pretty smart, since I went to report them (I am on the NYState Do Not Call list as well as the Federal list) and this is what I got:

I have received at least one call per day for the past week from this number.  I tried reverse lookup and no results.  I'm glad I am not the only one getting these calls.  I am thinking of cancelling ny phone number - it's driving me crazy!

We received a call from this number yesterday and the caller id read Ande Inc. 718-621-1400. There wasn't an answser on the other end for several minutes. After hanging up I called back and the message was that the number was out of service

They call and nobody talks. Several times.

Caller ID read "private call".  When I answered, the caller was soliciting money on behalf of the "fire department".  This area code is in a place 400 miles from where I live.  Thought it very strange an area that far away would be soliciting.  When I called back, I got the recording that the number was out of service.

Received call......from "private user".....but phone # was clearly 718-621-1400 on the caller ID.  When I researched this number online it is registered to ANDE INC. located at 6914 New Utrecht Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11228 (718) 621-1400.  If you search a little farther, you will find that this is the same address for Landscaping BY Amorosi Incorporated, New Age Services, Thanks A Million Incorporated.  But, when Il cook up the name for ANDE,I found the following Ande Inc., 5409 Australian Ave., West Palm Beach, FL. 33407  (561) 842-2474, Fax (561) 848-5538

I have e-mailed Ande Inc at their website........no response yet.

Today, 9/27/07, at 12:55pm I received a call that showed up as Private Caller, 718-621-1400.  The person said Mr. J.  I answered yes, but he said nothing else and hung up.  I called the number and a recording said the number was not in service.  I have no idea what the call was about.

I just received my second phone call from this number.When I said, "hello", they didn't say a word, so I kept quiet and they just hung up.They called my house earlier and did not leave a message. Does anyone know how this can be stopped-my husband is on the DO NOT CALL list, and that obviously means nothing.

I received a call from this number last night around 8:19 PM. My caller ID listed the name as "Private Caller".   I said hello twice and heard nothing on the other end but silence.

Caller told me they were collecting money for fallen police officers and their familes. Began arguing with me when I told him I was happy to donate my time, but wouldn't be giving any money because I didn't know who he was and wasn't local to us. Hung up on me.

We received a call this evening from this number. When I said "hello?" twice, there was only silence, so then I hung up.

Interesting note: The number came up as: unknown name 41-718-621-1400

Is the 41 a caller ID blocking digit?

The caller continues to call every day and hangs-up after asking for my wife.

It is already two days that I receive calls from this number. Nobody talks and then the line goes death. It is annoying, especially because they also call in the evening when I'm putting the children to bed.

Yesterday and today, twice both days.  Whether it is the answering machine or someone from my house picks up, there is no response from the party calling.  Why are they bothering then? I am also on the "Do Not Call" list.
