This call reportedly came from the IRS claiming that I was delinquent in not paying my full amount of taxes...

I received a call from this number also saying from IRS concerning suit filed against my account.  Said if I do not respond they will send to local court!

I received a call from this number saying from it was from the IRS concerning suit filed against my account.  Said if I do not respond they will send to local court. The English is improving from previous calls. Called 4/28/15 11:30 AM, EST.

Got a call just a few minutes ago saying there was a lawsuit filed re: a legal matter that would go to the local county courthouse & to call the number mentioned.  Scammers go away - lock them up... get a legit job instead of trying to take our hard earned money

I got a call also went right to voice mail no message left. If they claim to be the IRS they can only contact you through the mail

Received a call from this number early this morning.

Recorded message from fake IRS agent claiming to be from their investigations department. Lawsuit being filed, etc. etc.

Just hang up or don't answer the call.

There must be a reason that these numbers cannot be shut down! I receive no less than two calls a week from these idiots notifying me that I am to be arrested by the IRS  or the Local Police (LOL) for my tax evasion which I can likely fix by giving these knuckleheads my bank account info!! Does anyone actually do this??! I hope not!

Someone called and left a message that there was suspicious activity on my Apple iCloud account. I got the call from a Boston MA number 617-385-9400 but they told me to call them back at 718-637-6496 which is my area code.

I got the same call, but since I don't own any Apple products... it's gotta be a scam, but how?  They claim that the number is toll-free, but I have my doubts.  Do they charge you by the minute to return the call?  Is that the scam... like the old 900 numbers?

What number did they state was toll-free?
As for how the scam works: they tell you there's some sort of problem with your computer and that they need access to it to fix it. Once you allow them in, they either steal personal information or lock up the computer and tell you to pay them to "fix" the problem. Or both.

I got this Scam call after having called AT&T customer support for help (from a line I only use for international calls); it seems to me the ATT support reps have a virus on their system or they're giving your phone number to the scammers.  Scam message: One to connect with Apple support advisor. Doubt there's a virus. Just a scammer dialing every number in a sequence with a computer

I, too received a call from this number saying they were from Apple.  I've also received one from them saying the are the IRS.  I'm surprised they can just keep using the same number for scam after scam.

Why not? They're just spoofing the number anyway.

I keep getting calls from "Apple" telling me of problems with a device...718-637-6496 (Daily now...twice today. The second time from 718-471-3800.
