Indian scammer. Same old baloney. Lesley Owens calling from the Dept. of Legal Issues and warning me that I had better call right back because I'm in some real big trouble!  I see these thieves are using multiple spoofed numbers for this same ploy.

Caller stated that enforcement action has been started against me.  She suggested I have my retained attorney call her immediately to avoid lengthy legal  affair.

Someone by the name. Leslie Owens just phoned me from Department of Legal Services with the same message noted by earlier notes.
I looked up the company name and it is a Phone Scam. Do not reply! The number is different, but the tactic is the same.

I also received a phone call. Clearly "Leslie" is reading from a script and doesn't exactly use correct word usage.

Said he was from the U.S. Treasury, had alot of background talk, guy sounded foreign.

Called, message was very hard to hear. Leslie owens first, then a foreign guy when I actually called.
"Department of Legal Issues". Asked my name first, then once I asked for a case number or name, he hung up.

Leslie from Department of Legal Affairs with hispanic accent called to alert me that action would be taken against me is I did not call and that I should have my attorney call.  She was reading from a script and ended with saying blessings and God bless you.

Lady with a strong accent saying to call her back immediately regarding legal action being taken against me.  Crazy, she never mentioned my name in the call, so I guess she is calling random numbers.  Said her name was Leslie Owens

I just received a call from Leslie Owens, Department of Legal Affairs, same message as the others on this list!  I'm so sick of these people trying to scare those who don't know any better than to call back and give them the money that they tell them they need to pay!!  Get a real job people and try working for what you want instead of taking from someone who has!!!!

Caller ID said "Cindy Adams".  Caller said her name was Leslie Owens from "Department of Legal Affairs".  Someone should tell these idiots that they should speak better english if they want people to actually fall for their scams.

I actually called them back they said I ignored the "treasury letters" they sent me etc Told me we owed back taxes etc
I'm an accountant I KNOW we don't owe anything.
I told them to resend the letters... To my surprise they hung up!  I hope they rot in hell...

Recording stating that my students loans were being forgiven.  That would be great, but I paid those off 15 years ago!  Does this mean I get money back?

Just got a call from that number. I don't answer calls from out of my area code purposely for this reason. If it's important they will leave a message, but they didn't, so, I just block the number now that I know it's a scam.
