I also got a call, a girl voice about resume their company saw on monster...I have doubt because if someone is looking to hired, why do they have bad receptions.....calling...and I can't even hear clearly what she is say...then tell me they want to interview me on Monday. I told her I'll think about it and call back. (yea right..I'll just block the damn number). if someone want to hired be, at least be pro, over the phone. ha. I believe it a SCAM TOOO. if you doubt about a call, trust your instant and then google it and find out if its a scam or not. that what I'm doing. thanks everyone here for the information.

Yeah I was called to have an interview on Monday too! almost as what you said! To my surprise is that the only thing I apply is in MA, how can it possible to get a call from Staten Island? I couldnt catch a single word from the receptionist! She gave me an address which is "richmond perrace suite 308 10301"..
I tried to call back afterward and it was an answer machine saying something like "JZ company".
    thank you for the information!

I just put my resume on Monster too and got a call from this number and I was asked to come in on Monday as well.  When I asked if there was any other day I could maybe come in her response was, that only Mondays work so maybe the following one?  I could only understand about every 3rd word she said.  WEIRD

I also just received a call from this number and thought it was weird because I could not understand a word the woman was saying.  I thought it was bad reception on my end but then I stepped outside and still could not understand her. The call was just weird overall and the woman calling was unprofessional and only said it was a new company and when I asked what position they were hiring for she said they are a new company again and would keep my resume on file.  At that point I was thoroughly confused and decided to do some research which brought me here and reaffirmed my initial notion that this is some sort of scam.

I got a call today from a woman whom speaks unclear English and she said something about the monster.com resume. She sounds not professional and rude so I ask her to send me an email and I will call her back. She expect me to call her back with an attitude and I never did but instead google her caller idea number from my phone. It was a scam. Thanks to all your posted message.

I got a call from this number today and i decided to google it and see what it was about.  The name on the caller id was Pnina Lashevski, but from the posts here I see that the company is Consesco so I did a search for that name and got this site http://www.conseco.com/wsc/.  I clicked the career's button and it seems that they do hire people in different states.  I did not call back because I am not interested in selling insurance and I stated on my Monster profile that I would liked to be contacted by email.  If this company is really looking for workers then they should have someone that is a bit more professional making the phone calls because after reading some of the above comments, I see that this is not the case.

Same thing with me:  Woman with the worst command of English called me (that is the real red-flag because a legitimate company wouldn't have someone on the phones sounding like a zombie on acid).  She said her name is Chacy.  She arranged for an interview at 36 Richmond Terrace on Staten Island on Monday, June 27, 2011.  I'm to bring my resume with me.  No mention of job description or job requirements.  Going to SI is a bit of a trek so...shouldn't we talk first?!  I didn't want to get to this office only to find that they'll be paying just $9/hr or need someone who has excellent PowerPoint skills (thus, leaving me out of consideration).

Thanks to all of you for keeping others informed.  I just left this supposed office a message telling them what I thought of them wasting my time the way they did, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Note:  Don't put your real name on your Monster.com profile or your address and if you get job offers asking for personal, valuable information (i.e., soc. sec. number, etc.) just tell 'em off.  When you get a real offer from a legitimate company, give them a copy in person of your real résumé and explain why the discrepancy, and they'll understand.

    Good luck to all.
