Someone call and nobody answer on the other side January30

Repeated calls from this number.

They called me saying they were from jamaica and they wanted to speak to someone who won tickets to come to jamaica [***] liar [***] tgey harrass people

they call and no one is there. what's the point?

just got a call. No message on machine. Says Private number. Funny how this number has so many different suppossed callers from it... one complaint said they claimed to be from a law firm, another from an electrical (scam) company, now I see Jamaica tickets etc. Guess these scumbags have nothing better to do. They probably live off our tax dollars anyway.

They are a scam call center.  They just called me telling me that they wanted to lower my electic bill when I told them they called a do not call phone number they hung up quick when I called back they told me they were from Con Edison they hung up when I told them they called me at a do not call number and then when I called it back again they told me they were from a different electric company.  Funny since they were calling a phone number not even associated with an electric bill.
LOOSERS!

There needs to be a "Call Type" SPAMMER

Got a call from this number and the guy claimed to be from Con Ed. He wanted to talk to me about my account. We don't pay gas and electric in my building, so obviously this was someone looking to scam.

This # called me asking if I know about the reduction in national grid state fees and she was gonna help me get money back.
I told her ( I was gonna look into it some more and have a nice day).

Got a call from 718-764-0867 march 21 at 2:14 p.m. I am tired of the government allowing all these calls. There should be more punishment for idiots who call but are not on the phone but manage to call through. I am registered with the DO NO CALL Center and they best stop calling or I will consider it an annoyance call. I tried to look for the number through reverse look up and see that it is identified as a NY number. However, no one identified themselves and it came up on my Caller ID as Blocked Name. Wonder why they don't want their name shown? Interesting. Makes me wonder?

They call our office everyday. I never take a message. They say its in regards to the National Grid account.

Some dude wanted to discus my electric bill. I did not want to.

Just an FYI - Vitelity is not calling anyone, they are simply a phone company like AT&T or Verizon.

As for your call type suggestion, I believe that has been considered, but because one person's "spammer", "scammer", etc., is sometimes another person's "legitimate marketing call", I think the additional categories were rejected.

As pointed out before, Vitelity is the phone company they are using, not the identity of the caller.  The caller simply has elected not to provide a CNAM database entry, and it is defaulting to the phone provider.

I happen to be a customer of Vitelity myself, which is why the thread caught my attention. And by the way, I'm not spamming or scamming anyone.  Of course, when I call, it doesn't say Vitelity either, because I set things up properly.

Vitelity is one of several VOIP providers I do business with, and while they aren't my favorite VOIP provider, I've never seen any signs that they are doing anything improper, nor do they seem to be an intentional haven for junk callers like Pacific Telecom and CallerID4u are accused of being.

We receive several calls from this number daily. It's a robo call that leaves a message stating, "if you want to take advantage of stimulus money, blah, blah, blah." I thought the stimulus funds were used in 08 or 09 so I don't know what this call is about. You can't talk to anyone as it's just a recorded message. These are extremely annoying, however.
