They keep calling my mobile phone and leave no messages

Got a call regarding a resume i had posted on Monster. They claimed to be the Pappas Group but their description of being supplemental benefits providers has nothing to do with the real company by the same name. They asked for me to interview with them the next day but upon doing some research on the company i realized the address the gave me was also being used by several other companies which were listed as scammers on sites such as Flakelist.org. Definitely did not show up for the interview.

call re: my resume they found on career builder.  wanted to set up an interview for the next day!

They've called twice a day for the past few days without leaving a message. I have a resume on monster.com (very old--haven't logged onto site in years) so maybe that's where they're pulling the number from.

Yes do not trust this number. I got a call from them today saying they got my resume from careerbuilder and since I haven't been on that site for 5 yrs I was suspicious. They asked me what I did and whether I had manager skills... Since they had my resume they should know where I work and what I do. They also wouldn't offer me an entry level position as well as a manager position in the same 5 mins. A woman named COURTNEY told me to go to 30 50 Whitestone Expressway flushing ny. 2nd fl suite 201.

They are called the pappas group from what I have found out they are an insurance group called NILCO.

I got a call from the same number claiming that my resume was passsed to them from monster.com. I got a little bit suspicious about the call because the fact that they called in a holiday for most companies. Thank you all for posting this type of suspicious phone calls. They were offering me a sales or manager position.

i Recived a phone call from the same number, A guy told me that he found my reasume on cariar bulder and asking me if i have a manegment position , if he was an agency he should looked on my resume and i haven't been renewed my reasume since 2008 and i was suspecas. When i call back the number it has a busy line . I am not going to for the intervew.

Received a call from them as well. Was excited at first and almost fell into this. Was also suspicious. I tried to call the # back to leave a message for someone named KIM, no last name, Just KIM. She gave me her extension and you can't even get through.  I actually had an interview set up for today and when I hear from her you can bet she will get a piece of my mind!

Got a call from 718-888-9862- Theatre Pappas- she didn't say The Pappas Group (formerly NILCO). Suspicious from the get go but went with it anyway, figured I'd do the homework after the call and here I found all of you! Thank you all for posting, Said they were seeking someone for mngmt.  Will cancel the interview.

Got a call too, from someone named Woodlin (sp?) -- spoke quickly, wanted to offer me jobs in mgt, sales, or pt. HR -- don't know where they got my resume. Thanks all for posting this and glad I looked it up.

I received a telephone call from this number from a lady who claimed she received my resume from monster.com. She asked what was my latest job, when I told her she then asked if I was interested interested in a new career opportunity doing administrative work in a office setting. I replied yes, she the said it wasn't a sales position and that they just opened a new office in New Rochelle. I couldn't help but wonder just how she came across my resume when I applied for jobs in  the medical field. I knew this employer was a fraud when I asked about the compensation for this job, she said it may be hourly, salary based, or commission, that I would have to ask the hiring manager, I thought commission was strange as she did imply that it wasn't a sales position. Something told me to look up the address on Google so I wouldn't waste my time traveling all the way to Queens for some BS scam job.

I got a call just now...asking me if I want a child safety packet, they'll send in the mail. they need my
address.. and other details...DEFINITELY THIS IS A PHISHING SCAMMER.

I have seen a pattern from other people from this forum, these are the people I see hacking my
hotmail and left me so many mails. One was that from Carreer builder, promising me a job
as mystery shopper. also they have the info from monster.com sending me legitimate company names
which they get from my hotmail, but bogus recruiter emails...the man called sounds like Nigerian Accent.
the law enforcement should do something...when they get a call or their family members get the call
they might do something. ..watchout.....these guys are capitalizing on the unemployment.....
pure scammers....

got a call the other day from 7188889862.asking about mgmt position and its in queens..they told me it the pappas group went to research the company .i found the pappas group and it has nothing to do with the company they explained to me over the phone have the interview today but after reading all this i'm thinking twice if i'm going to show up to this interview. female name was kim.. they gave me a email  mylife@ail.com

I keep getting calls from 718-888-9862 sometimes 4 calls a week no message is ever left I wish they would stop it sounds like a scam

I keep getting calls from this number at least 3 a week but they never leave a message this is getting annoying im going to call them and tell them to stop my number is on the no call list

I just recieved a call from them about the same thing asking was i working and what I look to do. they even stated something about a manager position and entry level. i choose to do research on the company and i found this and seen something on the flakelist. so now i feel like i am not going on this interview plus i did research on the company itself and it had nothing to do with what they said. I've just received a call from them. Like 20 min ago. All the same as you described it. I checked the internet and found the same info. My emotions were very similar: excitement first and very suspicious after. Here are a couple suspicious things: call after 6Pm, interview on Saturday, questions about the things are stated clearly in my resume. I called them back but couldn't get anybody on the phone. I thank you all for saving my time. Now I feel better.
