Calls hangs up.  Cal back and number not in service

calls come one after the other. Could these bogus numbers be how a hacker might hack? Some way to connect or load nasty apps?

caller ID says Brooklyn, NY..didn't leave a message.

Called for someone that pays the electric. Told them not interested and hung up. Didn't they call back about 3 hours later didn't answer the phone.

Caller does not leave a message.  When I tried to return the call there is a harsh noise and a technical voice that informs this number is no longer in service.

I disguised my voice and played stupid for a while, they wanted the person in charge of electric bill, told her I burned wood. LOL

Caller ID "Brooklyn NY" ... Sept. 10 at 10:55am Eastern time. This call ended after one ring. It may have been blocked by a free service I subscribe to which is available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner). Google "No more robocalls" to get more information.

They called and call ended after one ring also.  ID: Brooklyn NY.  Sept. 10 at 3 PM EST.

I got the call today.  Caller ID said Brooklyn.  I answered.  A woman said hello.  I said can I help you and she responded, no ma'am you cannot,  then hung up.  I tried to call back,  but it rang many,  many times before finally getting a recording came on stating the # is no longer in service.

same here - but just before I got a call from 7189346182 I got a call with my name and number in the caller ID! I suspect it's the same caller.

Called to speak with the person who is in charge of paying the electric bill.  Caller ID is New York.

Same as all of you , my friends    These people must enjoy their do nothing job.   Think we'll get rid of this phone cause Verizon  does'nt seem to be of any help for that matter .  Thanks  all .  If you call than why don't speak when spoken to ?.....
