Indian sounding man wanting to verify our business address. "I'm calling to verify your address as 123 xyz street, zip code 12345, right?"  I asked where he was calling from and he said some three letter initials and when I asked him what that was, he hung up on me.  Must be some sort of scam where you say "yes" to verify your address they send you a bill for something you didn't order.

I have been recieving calls from him every 5-10 minutes for the last hour and a half. He claims to be from Business to Business contacts and wants to verify a staff person works here. Every name he has inquired about is for some one who no longer works here or never has. I informed him I was going to report him to the FCC for harrasment and he still calls.

I just had a similar experience. The first call came at 9:19 AM. I didn't pick up. The second call at 11:01 AM, I answered. A man with a East Indian accent said he was calling from business-to-business contacts, and new my full name. I told him this is not a business, and he had reached my apartment, and I don't have a business. I politely, but firmly, asked him to please remove my name from whatever list he had and not call me again.

I got the same call from an Indian guy butchering my info.  He had some old contact information from me and after googling it looks like he got it from 123people.com.  I hope he wastes his time and money mailing somethng to that defunct address.

Received a call from this number. A heavily accented man asked to verify my business info. He got the name completely wrong and then I promptly told him I do not own a business. I registered my number on the do-not-call-list but still receive these annoying calls several times a month.

Strange call - he said he was looking for our convention services manager to send an invitation to an event in the Lombard area.  I tried calling the number back and the message says '

Sorry - the message says 'caller is unavailable - please leave a messge'.

I get calls from this number all day long at my business phone.  I have asked SEVERAL times to stop calling & it continues.

I've gotten 13 calls from 719-219-7349 today, 3 of them I've answered.  Each time they are trying to verify the address and owner information.  I finally told them to stop calling.

I have received four calls so far this hour from the number 719-219-7349. The caller ID says "Colorado Caller" and every time I answer the person on the other end of the line hangs up.

We have had several calls over the past week.  I just took a call from this guy who I asked for his name, he told me he was Charles something, with a very thick accent.  I told him I wanted his name so I could tell who ever he was calling who that caused them to get fired!  He asked me for the email of the person that was taking his place!  These guys are nuts and agreviating to say the least!

Same thing...two calls today at my place of business which is a medical practice. They knew my name and wanted to verify my profession and my address here at work. When I asked who was calling, "Sara" in a heavy Indian accent said B to B and hung up on me.

Ive been receiving calls fromt his number over the past weeks on a daily basis. He'd call no less than 15 times a day! Last week on Friday, he called 12 times in about 30 minutes! I finally got fed up, I asked where he was calling from and he told me, Sidney Australia!!!!! but clearly, his number is a colorado number. I told him that I was referring to his place of business and he then told me Business to business. They have since been calling me but alternating the number to 202-511-5114!

That is who they are so just ignore them and hang up on them. Do not verify anything as I am sure your employees do not want their names out there.

I just recieved a call from this number and like most of you it was a heavily accented Indian man. He wanted to verify our address and an employee here. I was very quick with him but because that employee has ties to the Colorado area I didn't think anything of it until reading this forum. I had recieved a call 5 mins prior from a "private" number where an Indian lady asked me if an unknown person was there. I told her there was no such person here and she asked who she had called. I'm no Sherlock Holmes but I think it may have been connected. I appreciate the feedback from this forum and know what I'll do the next time they call ;)

several calls a day. do not want them calling

I have received two calls today, one from a man and one from a woman, both with an Indian accent.  I have asked them to quit calling.

The callers must be some cowards from Mumbai, India. I am not absolutely sure that they are from Mumbai, but I'll say that city has some hidden boiler rooms there.

I had the same thing happen, an Indian sounding man... they want to verify our business address.  I know it is some kind of scam.

The guy who called you can't even verify his own address and he's trying to verify other people's address for scam.
