Telemarketing for home security continually calling cell phone

This number has been calling every hour for the past two days. Leaves no message on voice; hangs up when you pick call up. Caller ID appears as "Canon City"

calls over and over, never leaves a message.  When called back it goes to an endless loop "thank you for calling our customer service center. all of our representatives are currently busy, please hold the line and one of our representatives will be with you shortly"

Held for 9 minutes before my call was answered.
I very politely spoke to someone named "Tom" in a very loud, busy call center environment who had a very obvious not "Tom" accent.   Selling security systems and continue to push even when asked to remove my number from their auto-dialer.

It's this crap that has led me to keeping an air horn by the phone... when they answer, let them sort out their career decisions while taking advantage of their medical coverage.

Calls several times a day without saying a thing - figured he would talk today. I guess I qualified for a free security system as long as I agree to place their sign in front of the house. Their security system is special, it features 2 way communication and an 18 second response time - I thought all security systems did that?  The guy wanted to transfer me to someone who would schedule the install even though I wasn't interested. I finally told him to request one for himself since they're free and hung up.

this number just called my cell phone.  a man said he was calling from home security and asked how my day was.  when I replied, he hung up.  This is very suspicious.  And I would recommend blocking this number.

What's the point of calling if caller hangs up?  I wonder if the caller gets paid by each phone call made, not by each sale made.
I'm going to call our phone company to find out how to block the call.  I'm ready to apply the air horn method as suggested by a previous post.

I also had the same million calls a day from this number... Every time I picked up, they would hang up.  Tonight, I got lucky - they finally answered their own telemarketed call.  I asked 'jason' to take me off the list and he politely oblidged after announcing himself as GE Home Security.
