Got a call from this number today (11/10/2015) at around 9 AM Mountain Time.   Caller ID showed "Out of area 1-719-309-0997".  Anytime I don't recognize the number, I always let it roll thru to voice mail.   They left no message; so it's probably no one that I want to talk to.   Added their number to my Call Block List.

some kind of recording telling you that you have won-------  I hung up

Out of area ...  or Toll Free ... always let that go to voice mail.  Didn't leave a message, so now it's blocked.

Robocaller. Called a couple of times and left empty voicemails before I could add them to my blocked caller list.

Same as above.  Let go to voicemail but no message.

I usually don't answer strange numbers on my cell phone, but since we are having some work done on our house and it appeared to be a Colorado Springs number, I did. A human-sounding voice said, "Hi! This is Tim from the customer service department. Can you hear me?" I started to say, "Excuse me, who is this?" but I was interrupted by "Tim" midway though my sentence, saying "Great, let's ...."  and that is when I ended my conversation with "Tim".

Oh boy! I've won a cruise!  [Insert eye roll here]

719-309-0997 seems to be on a roll, giving away free cruises.  I won't answer unknown calls but I can use my imagination to  think of various insults I could give "Tim".

A life like recording of a young man from "customer service". Fist question was "can you hear me OK?" .  Then the recording babbles on about a free cruise, then the recording continues and asks if you had a credit card. I just growled into the phone until the automated system hung up. That'll show em.

Called, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a voicemail. Came here to verify and, as I suspected, seems like robospam.

Cruise scam con that also calls from 719-309-0998...one digit off to defeat blocks. Just one of dozens of cons, using thousands of numbers attempting to commit crimes with the obsolete telephone.

This company keeps calling my cell phone, also on the -0998 number, with a robocall saying "congratulations, you've won a free cruise."

Oh oh is it for two?...

Scam call - DON'T answer!!

Got a missed call from this number. No voicemail. Now blocked!

Called my cell while I was on another call. Ignored. No message left. It will be added to the block list now.

That number called my spouse's cell. Caller ID stated "Colorado, USA." I declined the call and have blocked it.

if you call this number back, it is suddenly disconnected. what a scam

Just got a call from this number, they did not leave a message. spammers. why do people do this???
