I just received the same call, no company name, no saying why.

Thick Indian accent.  They have no information, but assure me that the IRS is perusing legal action against me. Morons

Me too! LOL I have 4 serious legal allegations against me. If they'd start the conversation with: I'm your rich cousin from Somalia and I have $5.3 million to disperse to your bank account I may have entertained a conversation for a few minutes.

Got the same message, saying I'd be arrested if i don't respond. Bogus. It's a scam

My daughter living in Austin, Texas got this same call, it just so happens it came from my area code. Scam.

Ditto to all of the previous comments.  I guess we'll all be in custody together.

I just got the same call, when you call back they answer "IRS" the IRS does not call you they communicate through the mail. I reported it to the FTC. so sick of these thugs harrasssing innocent people.

Got the same call some automated message about legal action against me. Called on another phone and thick Indian accent said it was Deputy so and so with the IRS. I said I would call the IRS phone number direct and he hung up.

Just got a call and did not answer. I called them back and it was a call center that sounded like it was out of India. I could barely understand the gentleman that answered the phone. I asked him twice what company he was from and he finally told me he was from the USA IRS. I told him the IRS does not call people and to remove my number from his list. He then wanted to argue with me and I told him to never call me again but using some very nasty language and hung up on him. Total scam.

Wife just received this call from a person who demanded a call back due to serious allegations against us concerning a legal matter. BOGUS!!! The IRS has been warning about these types of calls. They do not call first, they put it in writing and then call only after you have called them. This is a direct attempt at committing fraud and misrepresentation of a legal entity. You need to change your form....this was a scam call promoting and or committing fraudulent actions.,

Got a call from this number today (5-17-2017) that I didn't answer. The person left a voicemail saying that the IRS would take legal action against me If I didn't call them back immediately.  Total Scam!  if the IRS wanted to "reach out and touch me" they have more effective ways other than a lame phone call.

Same thing. They said it was the IRS and I owed them $6200!  I told him to send the police to my address which he couldn't confirm   Scam.

Left voice mail saying this was a serious legal matter and I need to call them or be taken into custody  I did not return call.
