Why are these people calling me up to 5 or 6 times per day????   they are rude and hang up on you if you are not who they are trying to reach.  Help.... Who are these people????

The caller said his name was Joshua Robinsen, from Purchase Power Solutions (PPS) located in Arizona.  He said I had been pre-qualified for their credit card interest rate and monthly payment reduction negotiation service.  All he needed was for me to give him a credit card number and authorize a $998 charge for their service.  He guaranteed they would show me how to save at least $2500 in my credit card bills.  I told him I don't give out credit card information to unsolicited callers.  I said I wanted to check out his company online first.

In one of only 4 testimonials shown on that website, it praised Proactive Planning Solutions (coincidentally also PPS).  It appears it may be a related predecessor to this company.  Proactive Planning Solutions has a lot of critcal reviews on the Internet, and an "F" rating at the Arizona Better Business Bureau for numerous unresolved complaints.

I'm glad I didn't let Joshua talk me into using their service.  I will try negotiating directly with the credit card companies.

The police really should crack down on these phone calls. Its really annoying.. I've been getting calls about lowering my credit card rates, etc.

Now they are using this phone number 208-410-7539, same guy Josh Robinson, asking for credit card # and info to lower my debt, blah, blah, blah!!!!

I also have been bothered by these people I talked to one of my credit companies and they had no clue who these people were.  I also feel safer going through the credit card companies or a long standing dept consolidation company. They said they put the 998 $ fee into your loan but it's not a loan and how are they charging my credit card 998$. why would my card authorize a charge  like that and then lower my interest to 3.5%.  It just does not make sense to me.

Yes, I had that number and name call me today.  I cannot find out much about this company online so far.

You all have the right to file a complaint with the federal trade comission. DO IT!!!

I just got a call from Chris Sain, Purchase Power Solutions, 888-512-8881.  After a long sale speech and how to lower my interest rate to 7% that will never end he mention it only cost a fee of $900. I though the call was for a new credit card with a 7% rate.  I then told him I didn't need his service and hung up.  He call two times withing a few minutes. I didn't bother to answer.  Each time they called my phone ID gave the name Dodd Daniela, 408-752-0288.  I won't be answering that number any time soon.

I got a call from "Charles" from "Purchase Power Solutions" to reduce all of my Visa & Master Card credit cards to 5% interest.  The number he called from was714-531-0966...REALLY!!! He said someone would be getting back to me...they could try:) I won't be available!

The same man (Christopher Anderson) called me I am trying to get information about their company and their program. $998.00 seems like a lot of money to me. I am not about to authorize a charge for that amount until I find out more and feel sure they can really help and get results. Thanks for your comment it truly helped me make up my mind. Received a call from Joshua Robinson today, and experienced the same...very persistent and insistent that we needed their services. Asked him where he was located...said Tempe, AZ, but I did a reverse search on the phone # and it was listed as a land line for an Anita Millan in Sorrento, LA??? I also said that I wanted to check out the company before I would give out my card #, which caused him to be even more persistent, saying for me to get online and he would help me check them out @ BBB and the company website. Why would I trust the company website if I was uncertain of their legitimacy??? The had a B rating on BBB due to the same issues listed here; and they are not members of the BBB, which, in itself isn't an issue, but the complaints were all the same! When I typed in the company name to do a search on them, only one site with Purchase Power Solutions came up, which only had complaints about them! Very suspicious to me! Can't say for sure they are a scam, but can't say they aren't!

got acall from purchase power solutions to lower my interest rate if igave them 900.00 and they would save me 2500.00 and lower interest. fell for it now it is  acredit card  dispute with my bank. they had all the information about me. they said they worked  finaceing for hsbc bank and other banks. cancelled  my credit card 5 minutes afterword  and it still went through same day. funning i am in business and when people caharge it does not go through until next day.

The same deal Josh Robison at 1 888 512 8881.He just can rattle away how they can cut your payments in half.He said a company run by Visa and Master Card negotiates the debt, are you kidding me.Very pushy and this wasnt my first rodeo with this type of ripp-off business.Told him if there is some dirt I can find it.That is what brought me here thanks for knowing that it was a scam.

I just received a call from the famous "Chris Sain" as well. Same deal: $998 charge to lower my interest rates "by at least half." Promises me that this will save me $150/month, or "up to $1,800 in a year," and allow me to pay off my credit cards "twice as fast."

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

This evening I received a call from someone whose name I don't remember. He had alot of info about me and he wanted to verify some about my credit cards. He said an account manager would get back to me. About an hour later I got a call from Josh Robinson with the same line about 5% interest on all my cards and they would apply the $900 charge directly to my card and asked me for one of my card numbers. I refused and asked for a phone # to call them back after I verified some info on their web page. As above, he stated that he could walk me through both their and the Better Business Bureau sites. I thanked him for his time and persistence and hung up. Thats how I discovered this site. I intend to follow up with the attorney general in my state!

I get a call from 210-338-5265 and they are from purchasepowersolutionsinc.com. I do not know who these people are. He said he wanted to talk to my husband about his visa or mastercard account. I told him he doesn't have one. He said he'd call back tomorrow. Wouldn't give me his number, said it was just for customers (whatever). Very strange.

Like a fool, I fell for his pitch, but now after reading these comments, I want to dispute the charge.  Are you having any luck with your dispute?  I am not going to send them any more information.

received a call just like the other ones listed here.  Thanks so much for posting.  My call was from Chris.  same speil  # 206-729-8502  No name on the caller id just Seattle Wash.  Call back # was the same listed in the other posts.  He also became pushy when I wouldn't give him a credit card #.  if he knows so much about my credit he would know what credit cards I have.  I too told him I would check them out before I agreed  he also offered to "walk"me through the websites.  No thank you.  very grateful for these posts.  If it was a legitimate co. they would send the packet before charging me.  Thats when the red flags started flapping in the wind.
