I also just got a call from these lunies.

yep, I got one too.  No message was left.  Have no idea who it is.  I came on here hoping to find out, but it seems others have been called and don't know either.

Got a call from this number today (9/24).  Also got one last Friday.  When I tried to call the number I got a message saying the number was not in service.

Answered the call, no human, so a dialing computer.  Remained silent, no response from the dialer.  Hung up.  I won't answer the phone again.

I tried to call them back at 713-638-0533, phone system replied with the "this phone is no longer in service..."

Sorry, Area Code used was 719, not 713.  Cant figure a way to fix the typo :)

recieved call from this telephone also. no voicemail left when i called back this number is no longer in service... weird

i get a call 3 to 4 times a week generally no voice on the other side , just silence, except once laughter and a hang up, ???

Same here--I tried calling back but got a number saying it was not in service.  The most recent times and dates that I got a call on my cell phone from this number:  12/3/08 @ 4:44 p.m. EST and 11/26/08 @5:40 p.m.

This idiot calls and hangs up on the answering machine, when I answered the phone the idiot asked for someone who lives in the house, I replied that this person would not be home for another 45 minutes, may I take a message, the idiot just hung up, did not identify itslef (male voice) .  Went to the internet to research the number and here we are.  I would like to kick the living [***] out of this idiot and senf him back to hell, moron, in this day and age caller id is important, we were almost ripped off 5 years ago, and it will not happen again. If this idiot calls again, he will be placed on speaker phone and the line will be recorded, in addition I fully intend to contact Verizon, Maryland state fraud div, and contact the local FCC field office, maybe they can catch this moronic idiot and put him away..HELL would be a good start.

it was someone offering a low rate mortgage.  I made the mistake of being polite, and before I could say "please remove me from your do not call list - they hung up on me!  I am the do not call list - they should be reported.

Received 2 calls from this number. When I called back it said number was disconnected.

they are id spoofing..i.e. hiding/changing their calling info on your id. work them for a company name, then post in here and let everyone report them. big fines for each person called on the DNC list.

I randomly get calls from this number. When answered, I get dead air. I am also on the worthless, government.."do not call" list that doesn't seem to matter to these type of organizations. Any way to stop these persons/organizations?

Got the call. I didn't answer since I did not recognize the number. I have my number on the Do Not Call list. Who is this?

2/20/09:  I just got a call on my cell phone asking for my husband.  When I asked what it was regarding he said he was "so and so" from Lower Rates.  When I asked him where he got this number, he hung up.  I then called back twice and both times I got a message saying this phone had been disconnected.  Very strange.

2/25/2009. 719-638-05 called my cell phone at 0814. I did not answer, and no message was left.
