I get a call from 720-251-8274 telling me that he is Officer Mathew Gibson and he has a legal issue against me. The phone umber is from the surrounding area of Denver, but you can tell it's being relayed to over seas in India. All officers speak broken English, and when I told them the number was being relayed, to India they hung-up

I got this same call from an alleged: Officer Matthew Gibson with Law Investigation and that I needed to call him back immediately regarding the matter. So I called the number he left on my voice message; 720-251-8274 to learn more about what this was about and knew right away it sounded very strange.

When I called him back he told me that they had a legal issue against my daughter and that she gave them my number as a reference. I asked what company he was with and he said Loan Cash Net. (I looked this company up but could not find them.)  I then asked what was the legal issue and he said that my daughter had taken out a cash advance loan & used me as a reference which was very odd because I doubted that my daughter would have taken out a loan such as this but I then proceeded to ask him, what was the amount and he then said $250. Now I knew something was up because my daughter would have just borrowed this amount straight away from me and not taken out a loan for this.

I then called my daughter and this same Officer Matthew Gibson with Law Investigation had called her cell phone and even her work phone! So she and I searched online to find out more about this so called Officer Matthew Gibson with Law Investigation and we found this posting. I then continued to look into the number he gave us: 720-251-8274 which as stated in the other posting here is near Denver CO, Aurora, Colorado to be exact. There are 2 phone companies in this area and if you check out http://www.touchstar.com you will see they are in Aurora, Colorado, and provide potential opportunities that someone in business to fraudulently scam people. I am not saying anything negative about TouchStar but I am just pointing out that these types of tools should be monitored to prevent these types of frauds.  In this case I believe someone who is POSSIBLY using these tools and trying to earn money by hoping someone will just send the small re-payment of some supposed loan amount in order to stop them from calling or to feel as if they have paid some unknown debt for a loved one. I hope others will see these post if they are getting the same strange calls and not be victimized by this.

This person is calling every 5 minutes and I don't not know who they are

I first received a call from work the man on the other end advised that he was with some Law Investigation firm claiming there was a case against me and gave me some type of case number CFI150781. I attempted to ask questions in regards of what type of investigation. He became very rude and started yelling saying, "DO NOT SPEAK I WILL ASK YOU QUESTIONS AND DO NOT INTERRUPT ME!!!". I was very surprise but at the same time concern, so instead reacting I went ahead and let him continue speaking. After he said his long speech (in which i could not understand due to his broken english). He ask me do you agree, I said NO, I want to know exactly this is concerning. He began to yell again saying the same things last time, but with more agressive. So, I kept asking him "what exactly is this concerning" repeately he eventually hung up.

I went into google search engine to look up this company and could not find anything. But I inputted the phone number that I called back. And this link was attached. I read all of the other blogs and it sounds very familiar from what I experienced.

I will be contacting my local authorities and BBB. I suggest that anyone else who experience this same thing is to be very cautious and contact your local authorities as well. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY TYPE OF INFO about you.

That same number called me and my husband saying that my brother put him down as a reference and they need to contact my brother right away saying he took out a loan and never paid it back and the also stated that there were serious legal issues against my brother and my husband. I called the 720...number back to get more information because something just didn't seem right about it, I asked him over and over what the name of the company works for is and he just kept saying law enforcement.  I googled the number and found that what they are doing is illegal.  When he called back I told him I found that out about him and that I was calling the police he immediately hung up on me.  I called the FBI and they said what they are doing is illegal and they are not legitimate.  Please do not give any information out to these people.  The man I spoke to also spoke broken English and sounded like he was from India.

I received a call from a gentleman as well saying he was Officer Gibson and his call back number is 720-251-8274 saying that I also have the same case number (as someone mentioned earlier) of CFI150781 and he asked me to stay on the line as an investigating officer would soon be talking to me. Office Anderson then came on the line to tell me that I had taken out a loan with Cash Net and never paid it back.

He said I went online awhile ago and repeated back my Social Security Number (which was incorrect) and names of 2 people I used as references, Jane Paul and Spencer Smith (I don't know these people and never met them) and I hung up.

I contacted the Local Police Department and they indicated this is a huge SCAM. These companies can go online and pay a fee to get all types of information. Advice from the local police department was to tell the caller to contact your local jursidication and they would be happy to speak with them.

I'm getting kind of tired of these people calling.  Same situation as all posted here...same guy. Telling me if I chose not to call them back "good luck as the situation unfolds against you".   Crazy thing is...the number the call showed up as on my cell phone was 185694726994? That's not even a real number, it has too many numbers in it.  I searched online for it to just to see if I could come up with something, but I found nothing.  The call back number he gave me was the same 720 number.  Has anyone successfully gotten this stopped?  I don't want to call these people back.  But if I have to just to get it stopped I will.

I got a call from 720-251-8274 from Officer David Jarred ( I think thats what he said)he said he had a fraud case against me. He said I took out a loan for 800 dollars and did not pay it back. I told him I did not take the loan. He had my address and the lse 4 numbers of my social security number.Like Sal said they all spoke broken english and when i asked them question he old me to shut up and listen, I told him not to call me back and hung up ob the SOB.

I got the same call from these people i couldn't understand a word of what they were saying. They told me to don't ask questions just listen then they hung up. I reported this to the police dept and they are already aware of this. They said just hang up or tell them to take me to court.

These people have called several times and they are also calling my place of employment. I think I have gotten scammed before by a company name of BCI for over 700.00. I feel like a fool.

I just received the same kind of call from the 720.251.8274 number but this time it was Officer Dawson. This guy told me I was being taken to court for fraud.  I had no idea what the heck he was talking about.  I tried to ask questions but all he kept saying was for me to be quiet and listen that there were 10 lawyers listening to him read me an affadavit.  I finally told this guy that I would call him back with my lawyer on the phone.  He told me to make sure I called back in 1/2 hour or else action would be taken against me.  I'm glad I read all the other stories as I was taken aback.  Now I know for sure it is a scam. Thank you everyone!!

Just got a call from these people saying I've been sued for a payday loan from cashnet that I never took out.  I said if I've been sued I'll get court documents by US Mail they replied that they don't have to send me anything and they are referring my case?  I could barely understand them and asked to be transferred to someone else, they put me on hold and I'm pretty sure it was the same person that came back on the phone.  If a suit is filed they do have to send me court documents right?

I got the same call today and the guy (who claims hes an law enforcement)tells me he's based in colorado got into a dispute w/him I told him he was a scamer and a fraud,I hung up on him, these people are horrible something needs to be done about them!

I just received a call from these same people.  He states that he is an officer as well, but couldn't catch his name, but that I am under some legal investigation, that I need to return his call ASAP.  He called day before yesterday as well.  The strange thing is that when the number comes up on caller id, it shows as 1003.  This isn't even a phone nubmer.  I have had this happen once before and did contact my attorney.  He stated not to give them ANY information and to report them to him.  I have yet to call these people back, but as per my experience, I know not to.  They have not attempted to call my work yet, and they better not!!!!  But, please be careful about this. If you have a court hearing or subpoena, you will receive info in the mail.  Not just a phone call, because court has not way of tracking phone calls.  Beware!!!!

I've received the same type of call from 720-251-8274 several times.  Each time it's a different "Officer".  I told them I've never heard of them or taken out any loan and that by law if they think I owe them something, they need to send it to me via mail and I will respond.  Each time they get angry and tell me they'll send me to jail.  I tell them that per my Lawyer's advice I will not discuss anything over the phone and they must mail me.  They then either swear and hang up or the last caller said "Never mind."  This is a huge SCAM!!!  Please beware!  Do not give them any of your information and insist they prove the debt to you.

Received another call from these people, this time will the call back 720-251-8274 saying it is Officer David Clark. Message states to please call back and not to ignore his message if so "good luck as the stiuation unfolds against you." It is so annoying and I wish these people would get caught and stop calling. You can tell it is coming from somewhere overseas.

I got a call from these people at my job. OMG!! The man was rude and loud won't let me speak and I told him that i would look it to this and call back. I called back 20mins later after i had my bank look into this matter. Supposely i took a loan from CASH NET and now they want their money. The caller had my name email address and where i bank at and called me at job. I was pissed and eventually called HIM back to get the paper work faxed to me because i would take this to COURT. He told me I would be able to purchase a home and get a desent job. NEEDLESS TO SAY i was livid and to find out its a scam this is crazy!

Well, they must of hung up with Lacey and immediately called me because I got a very scary phone call. Officer Anderson told me that their client "Cash Net Loan" is suing me for $1424.00 and that I have committed the crimes of: Violation of Federal Bank Law, Check Fraud and Test by Deception. I have a U.S.A. Marshal in the family and if you get a phone call from this number, that you can make a difference. Call BBB, the State Attorney General, your local police (Anderson said my house was under surveillance and my SSN# was frozen) get these people behind bars.. tell whom ever you can that can help us get thugs off the street.....

OMG I just got the same call they called twice and said they will call every 5 min tell I give them info I told them there English is terrible they said no your English is terrible doesn't sound like much you can do but just don't answer your phone over and over and over any one have any ideas how to get these jerks nbr the called me from 720 251 8274

Yeah I just got a call from these guys. I questioned his authority as a police officer and they guy freaked out said that he would rip of my d*** and shove it in my mothers p****
