Received call from this number and they didn't answer when I said hello

Received same call. He knew my name and asked if my number was Dell headquarters. He also mentioned he's from iconic systems? Sounded like a scam.

Man with obvious accent called and asked to speak to company controller; said his name was (unable to understand) calling on behalf of Mr. (also unable to understand).  Caller ID shows "Denver Co". Sent straight to VM.

Person called my work # and knew my phone number  - heavy accent.    Said he was calling to schedule an appt with Dr Joann.   What a scam..  I played right back and asked for his social security number and all of HIS identification.. he said sounded surprised.    I got pushy with him and then acted like I was recording his call - he hung up.

I gota a call from this number, and they knew my first name but did not know my last name, and hung up saying they got the wrong person.  Weird The number showed up from Denver CO

An American woman asked to talk to a particular IT manager.  She claimed to be calling for her supervisor but wasn't privy to the reason behind it.  I said that because managers’ calls must be screened, I couldn't make the transfer without knowing its purpose.  Normally, these inquiries end with the person saying they'll find out and phone back but never do.  In this case, she just said Thank You and hung up.

Received call from this number at 6am. No message left when let it go to voice mail.

Ignores the donotcall.gov database.

Received call from this number at 11:20am. No message left when let it go to voice mail.

Received twice over course of two days. Went to VM. no message. I just BLACKLISTED the number. Enough said. Calls appear to come from Denver, CO.

Received a call from 720-257-5239 on my cell phone #. I did not answer because I never answer a number that is not listed in my phone directory, I have registered my number with the national do not call website, Cant understand how this happens??????

-Calls our company on a regular basis. Even though my company has asked for me to request to remove the number from their data base.
-Callers ask for multiple people (Execs - Non Mgr Personnel) from multiple departments.
-Every caller, claims to be Mr. Lance Menuey's "Personal assistant."
-When questioned what the call is pertaining, the "personal assistant" is unable to provide that information.
-But they gladly spelled Mr. Menuey's last name. So I am reasonably sure I have it spelled right, according to his "personal assistants."

Our office got a call from #720-257-5239 several times saying he needed to speak to the name of my boss and I asked who he was and an Indian accent said (while pressing mute when I spoke so I wouldn't hear the call center noise in the background) "I'm calling from Mr. Rockefeller's office".  Like I'm some dumb [***] American that's going to immediately send him through to my boss because he said that name.  I said no, he called one of my other boss' numbers, he said stop calling and now he waited about 1 month before calling with the same shtick again.  Ridiculous and so annoying.

These are the same idiots who say they are calling from the "office of"  Liz Kelly @ Divergent, Brenda Reimer @ LogRhythm, and a whole lot of other ridiculous and fictitious names.  My favorite so far was from the office of Edward Cullen at CVS Pharmacy!  Or Dr. Smith from New York Hospital!  Really??????  I am one of several switchboard operators for a very large global corporation and I can tell you that as of today, I have logged these idiots as calling from 187 different numbers!  We block as many as possible, but they keep on coming!  I believe they are compiling info to sell.  Beware!  Liars and scammers!
