This number keeps calling and don't know who it is, just says Denver, Co. and info about collect calls.

This is from a cdoc inmate phone.

actually it shouldn't be a collect call but it sure sounds like it. It is from a correctional facility in Colorado and if you wait to hear the rest of the recording it will tell you the name of the inmate calling you. You then press 5 and you will be connected. they recently changed their phone system.

The caller says it is from a Colorado Corrections Facility

this number calls 2 different times per day and will call at least 15 times each time.  I do not answer as it appears to be a Colorado Corrections Facility.  This annoying to say the least.

Multiple phone calls from this number for past 2 weeks. We do not know anyone in any correctional facility and my husband has to answer in case it's one of his doctors or medical personell as he is under medical care. How his # was given out when he's had it for several years sounds to me like someone trying to do elderly abuse. Yes, he's also old.

can't someone stop this scam???   INMATE WANTING TO MAKE A COLLECT CALL... and then someone want MONEY in advance -  yeah, right!  they are using multiple numbers to make these harassing phone calls.

It's from the Denver diagnostic holding facility for people that are being sent to whatever prison they are going to be sent to

I got a call from this number and a recorded voice came on saying "Please continue to hold" followed by some standard hold music. Needless to say I did not "continue to hold."

Does anyone know if you get a call from this number it being someone in doc in sterling then same. Number calls and its someone in pueblo doc does that sound right or possible?

Poor loved ones or friends of the people listed above! It's an inmate trying to contact you. The reason they're calling is because they KNOW you and your number! It varies based on area code to keep the calls local...

Uh, what about when several people report they don't know anyone in jail,  or the calls to a child's cell phone?  I have gotten calls like this in the past too and know nobody in jail.   The calls may be legit for some, but the number might also be used by scammers and/or be spoofed by scammers.
