caller asked to speak to person with same first name as me then claimed they were looking for someone in the next city and said they were IRS trying to reach that person OFS was on my caller ID

It is a company called OFS that tries to negoiate with the IRS and customer on a lesser amount of back taxes

Worthless tax help, ignore the call.

Company called 8 times today.  Very aggressive.

person calls, i answer they hang up.  i call back the phone answers and puts me on a music hold.  they are scamming something!  Says OFS on caller ID

I've been getting calls with no messages left for weeks. I was home once when they called and I answered but their phone robot hung up on me. I'm blocking the number.

They keep calling - Answered once and could hear people in the background, but after saying HELLO 3 times I hung up. Called them back and could not connect.

These idiots called today--picked up on third ring but they'd rung off.  

Hope I don't have to endure repeated calls from these bozos.  I have no debts and my taxes are up to date--so I hope it is a misdial and not some jerk trying to scam my elderly parents.  Bums!

Jason Bently (is that his real name ?)  called for  a 'confidential' chat with our company owner about taxes.   SURE, dude. Whatever.  Scam some body else, better yet, Take a long walk off a short pier.

Call all the time, but I don't answer

I had the same thing happen - just went through my caller ID and had about 6 missed calls from this number with only OFS on the caller ID. I called them back and got hold music then got voicemail to some guy. His outgoing message said it was OFS Tax pro solutions or something so I googled the company and got to this website:

I then called the 800 number on there and got through right away. Seems they are a legit company but the person they were looking for at my number was someone along the lines of Allegra Allah or something. Definately not me. The person I spoke with was very nice and removed my name from their system.

Bottom line - don't assume. Just do some research, people, and you'd be surprised what can happen. You might just educate yourself!

I think the guy who calls goes by the name of Alex Serroen.. He also has called me from 720-274-1816. He's rude, and his persona seems to fit that of the all-too-typical machismo aggressor, desperate to make a buck. He's called from the 358 number and the one listed above.
He's also not too bright because he can't seem to get it through his thick alpha-male testosterone laden head, that the person he seeks, someone who goes by the name of Alley Sheip or something along those lines, is NOT, at the phone number he continues to call, on a regular basis!

Oh, loopguress, I think you best do just a tad more research on that company (Omni-financial) which you claim is legit. Do a little more than "scratch the surface" in your "research" and you'll find that this company
1) has difficulty paying its own taxes
2) employs a NUMBER of convicted felons and/or those with a notable criminal record
3) has, not one, two, or just a hand full of complaints filed against them by several malcontents, who complain about everything, because they have nothing better to do with their time. You'll discover there have been dozens of complaints filed against them, from fraud, horrible customer service, and multiple other unethical business practices.

Said his name was Elliot Lewis with OFS. I called him back, said I was not the person he was looking for. He said he would remove my number from database, but again he calls as though we had never spoke. I called OFS Tax Resolution at their website number (800) 699-8294 and told the rep about it, he said he would make sure my number was not called again. We'll see...

These Indians males keep calling from this number stating that I better have my attorney on standby. You can hardly understand their language; it is a terrible accent never can tell you why they are calling, just keep calling & harassing you each time asking ou to confirm your name for them, I need to contact the Attorney General's Office for Consumer Affairs on these people or this company. Who are they this is the number 72-38-8035

I got the same call and I told them they were full of crap and he called back saying that I would be arressed in an hour

several missed calls from this number. wish they would quit calling.

They not only call my house phone, they also call my cell # several x a day from several different #s, and never leave a msg. All blocked on cell, each x I block one #, they call from a different one. I don't care who they are, if I need help, I'll seek it on my own.

Robocall claiming to be Public Service Co. offering some kind of discount energy scam to Public Service customers.  Public Service Co was bought by Xcel Energy years ago - and they use their own name on the caller ID, not "Unknown Name."

Constant calls with fax beeping at all times of day including middle of night.  Sometimes listed as Private and today a phone number came up 720-358-6097 Netproco.
