just got called by this number, telemarketer, CID shown as "SOLERCO"

Just got a call, no one responded after 5 seconds they hung up

They caught the machine but thought I had answered and then a lady's voice said, "Hello, Ms. ABCDEFG"?  and then realized no one was there and she hung up. They knew my name.  These creeps are so rampant and being on the DNC list is next to impossible for the enforcement to keep up with them. So I tell the creeps I have sold the house and am moving away and I don't need anything anymore and don't bother calling again. So far, most have stopped. Sometimes they call and ask for one of the guys that live here and say they are in prison, call there and ask if they want that number. They have even responded that THEY will take the number off their list.

Play the game if you're in the mood. If you've got elderly parents or family, please keep track of who calls them. The creeps are relentless! They prey on them. Get them a phone that will block the telemarketers by pushing a setting from the handset. Call your phone company and ask them what to do to make it stop. Older people like to answer the phone instead of letting it go. Some have even fallen causing broken hips and bones just because these creeps don't stop when told to.  Time to stop posting on these sites expecting it all to go away and start fighting back.

repeated calls nobody answers when you pick up

Didn't pick up their call on November 21 @ 2:59pm; if they're in Colorado, WTF are they doing calling California? These idiots actually put "SOLARCO" in the caller ID, so it might be easier to find them and sue them for violating the Telecommunications Act and the Do-Not-Call List. It's time to hunt down all telemarketers. They're predatory animals who contribute nothing to society and prey on the weak.

Got call and blocked number instantly.

I have just found this site so I have not been collecting info on all the calls I've gotten. I am lucky enough to have a phone system that allows me to block up to 30 numbers. This is one of the numbers I've blocked. I am maxed out! I was getting at least one call a day and often 2 or 3. Since blocking these 30 numbers the calls have dropped to almost nothing. It appears that either it is the same jerks or the word gets around that the calls are being blocked. I will pay more attention to the calls from this point forward.

Maya called with CID blocked using 720-452-6359 (faked phone number on call back, to a recording saying no one available to take your call), wanting to sell me solar electrical panel installation services. Knew my name, phone and address. Said company in business 15 years making solar panels and now installing for homeowners. Company HQ located in Riverside per Maya. Gave www.solarmaxtech.com as website.  Maya gave me her direct number to call if I had an issue, 951-300-0788, which comes back to SolarMax Tech on web search. Will call and would ring 4 times then just hangs up. This is a spoof/bot caller that sells your number to other companies once you pick up the number or call it back. Just don't pick up or call back a unknown number. If it's important, they will leave a message.

Received call.  Didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message. caller ID says --> V13118153700015.  If they keep calling then they will get their number blocked.  I have to use that feature sparingly.

Robocall (caller ID shows "Station 906") stating that my "ATM card has been restricted. To remove restriction we must run a brief verification process to show that you are in posession of your card and verify activity.  To begin and reactivate your card, press 1 now."

New twist, eh?

Another call from these harassing companies - I am on the dnc registry - I have reported these jerks for calling - they just keep it up - I don't want ugly solar panels - stop calling me - CID showed Solarco - call was 2/25/14 at 4pm- My phone rang off the hook last 2 days - seems Tuesday and Wed are the busy days for scum telemarketers
