what happened to the do not call law. This was a pesky bank call about credit card rates. Press 1 to speak to a friendly rep. No one there. Annoying.

I just got that call too, but since I didn't recognize it, I didn't pick up.  My routine is to immediately check google, find out what it is, then block it.

I have been getting this call on a regular basis. Most of the time i try to waste the time of the caller and press 1 for a car. The last time i talked to a man, we had a shouting match until he got tired and hung up. I do love to annoy these callers as much as i can. Remember do not give any of your personal information to these callers.

received the same call, tried to call the # back but the message said "mail box is full"  What the hell

I just pick up the phone and  hang up  right away when i  see  calls  i  do not know   i know its some kind of  gimick  what  happen to  the  do not call list  for  these  Telemarkers  they are wasting my  time as well as wasting thier  dime

Someone from this phone number called and spewed threats to my wife when she answered the phone; this caused her to quickly hang up.

They keep calling and calling and never give up - doesn't matter if your name is registered on the DO NOT CALL list or not. I keep asking them to remove my name from the list, they say they will, then a few days later, they call again. Tonight I told "Marcus" that I was filing ONE MORE complaint about them, and he screamed at me saying that now he would never take my name off the list. The best thing to do if you get a call from them is file a complaint with the DO NOT CALL list. Maybe if they get enough complaints about the same company, they might do something to stop this intrusion into our lives.

My wife answered the phone. We never have heard from them before. She didn't like what they were saying and gave it to me. I listened a little and hung up. On my living room phone there is no visual  caller ID so she just picked up and they talked about an account they were going to cancel. OK. Fine with me. Have to admonish my wife about answering the phone in the living room. Take an extra minute and go check on a phone with caller ID. Called the number and as someone else said, the mail box was full and  try later. Here I am on Google and know that that number is a no-no.

I just got a call from this number and waited on the line until the man came on.  I started questioning him about what kind of information he would ask me. I kept him on the line for 6 minutes questioning him until he started screaming at me in the phone and I asked him why he was yelling at me, and he apologized and repeated his pre-scripted scenario about how he wanted my credit card information so he could reduce my credit cards rates.  I doubt he was a bank, but a work from home dude. He was chewing something when he first picked up so I just kept questioning him over and over.
For example: "What kind of information do you want from me, and what will you do with that information"
After you get that information, what else are you gonna ask me?  What other questions are you gonna asked me once you get that information.  Lets just say I qualify, what other questions are you asking me?
I just kept repeating myself until finally he stated he had others on the line waiting to sign up. All he said was that his company was called Account Services. Well, that could be anyone anywhere.  One of those African scams or something.   SO he finally angrilly, boiled over and told me he was taking my name off their list and I said "Good. He was so angry LOL...... and I never even told him my name LOL!!!!!
