Looks like the latest number chosen by scammers. ID'd as Denver CO, no message--this screams scam call to me.

I just got a call, didn't answer and figured it was a scam call.  

Don't know who this is but?

I was expecting a phone call. This # called, I answered and no one was there. Now they know it's a good number. Thank goodness for Callblocker!!!

Caller wanted to provide extended auto warranty on my car.  Just a typical solicitor...do not call list just doesn't matter...  

Got call, did not answer. Looks like this is a brand-new scammer number; I'll be reporting it to PhoneTray Pro for inclusion in their auto-block list.

called about extended car warranty.

They would not talk to me (Ruth) because I have been answering their calls and telling them to take my name off their list.

Certainly a scammer

Receiving calls DAILY from them.  Claim they are from "JEEP" wanting to renew my auto warranty.  1.  If they were from "Jeep" they would notify themselves as "Chrystler Corporation", 2.  When I ask them to confirm the company name they hang up, 3.  When I ask them for a number to call them back at they hang up.

I'm playing a game with them....

They called me claiming to be the ones that handle the Toyota extended warranties and that's how they got my number.
Well, Toyota says that my warranty is handled ONLY by Toyota and they do not share that info with anyone.

The man mentioned Price Waterhouse as well.
But when he insisted my warranty had expired, I assured him that if he really was from Toyota's processing company, he would know it did not expire until 2015 and then he promptly hung up!

These scammers from car warranties, computer fixits and CC companies should not be calling numbers that are on the DNC list ever!

PS - I called Toyota and reported this as a scam.

This person called me and asked for Jesse,when I asked which one,they hung up...before that someone called from  the same number and asked for Jesse... When I asked who was calling,they said it was about our Honda warranty... I told them that we were not interested,and hung up... The first was a man,the second a woman.I tried calling them back,right after the second call,only to get a recording saying they were closed... Hmm... Scam is written all over this...

When I get these calls I do not recognize I let the recorder get it. If they do not leave a message I Google the number and if it's a scammer I have a call blocker I got from Ebay for $59 that works perfect and will hold 1500 numbers. I add their number to the blocked list. After they try a couple of times and get disconnected after the first ring they give up because they are wasting time on me. This has reduced my unwanted calls 90% within a couple of months. That call blocker is the best thing I have bought lately.

how do--do  you stop these scam calls?  Do not call does not work.

No Caller Name shown on Caller ID.  When calling back this number, you'll hear the same exact announcement on this other number (309) 795-6201

I've gotten two or three calls today from different numbers, all of them trying to scam me out of money for a warranty on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma.  Sounds like a boiler-room operation that just got a fresh list of potential suckers.  Be prepared for lots more.

hopeful this call will cease soon.3-4 times a day is bothersome.
