another "card services" scam.

Just got a call from this number...I didnt answer it.

I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time.   This particular number is a computer fraud, who, when given control over your computer, will upload a virus to it and then charge you to remove it.   Our government is WORTHLESS, especially when it comes to blocking these calls, so the Do Not Call list is also worthless.  Your only other course of action is this:

First, if you do NOT have Caller ID, then by all means GET ONE !   Secondly, Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize.  When you do, all you are doing is confirming for them is that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back, PLUS they will sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too.   If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does).   If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.  There are also call blockers you can purchase online.

Thirdly: Turn OFF your answering machine when you are home (I usually just leave mine off).   I have caller ID so have the number of whoever calls.

Also, by just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam.   It doesn't work either.   Also, I turn off my answering machine.  If it answers their calls, then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number and they WILL continue to call you.   Have a pleasant day.  Sure am glad too for websites like this.

Thought for the day:  I Wonder what would happen if everyone stopped answering these calls.   IF they got no one to answer, then would they just give up and die ?

I will add that by using these tactics, there are days that go by now when I have NO MORE phone calls from scammers!   Only problem is that they continue to get NEW phone numbers.   I have also resorted to making a list of all the number that have called, the date, and who it is (after checking in with these sites).   Please folks, don't answer these phone calls.  Use your caller ID's and the common sense that God has blessed you with.

THey call me 2 times a day.  When I answer there is a recording.. when I wait for the recording to get done someone answers and hangs up!

I have blocked so many of these calls and they call back from new numbers. Leaving my landline on a FAX from now on.

I do not recognize this number and when answered no one speaks

Credit card scam

These jerks call about 7 times a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

These fraud scamming people need to QUIT calling my number. It is starting to be a dang newsonce ANOYING To me and my family.

Now they called the house phone. This is very irritating. People STOP CALLING. This is ur last warning. Or you will deal with a lawyer

Just received a call from "720 580-1563 OUT OF AREA"  They hung up only after 2 rings!!!

Kay - why do you and people like you yell at the people who post on the web site and threaten to call your lawyer?  We're not the ones calling you.  We're the ones getting the calls just like you.  ( I got two of them today)  You are  wasting your time typing "stop calling me"  I feel sorry for people like you who are clueless.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

I get calls from the Credit Card Sevices jerks all the time. Always a different number. I push 1 to talk to an operator and tell them to quit calling, of course they hang up. Next time I am going to blow an air horn in their ear, and every other time they call also.

India toolbags again and blocked yet again. Can not call them back to mess with them anymore. After all these years these india idiots finally block the call backs. That means enough of us were messing with them. LOL what pathetic loser dirtbags they are.

We like our blocker that blocks entire area codes and full telephone numbers - that way, whey the change phone numbers - and they always do - they will be blocked and your phone WILL NOT RING - NOT EVEN ONCE!
