This is Affiliated Group  of Collectors and they are rude and they say you are rude if you assert your rights.  My account was with xcel Energy over a final bill that was not that late and I had made arrangements with Excel to pay it off....now I am just pissed off!

You can send a Cease and Desist letter to the collectors requesting them to stop calling you. Below is a Sample Cease and Desist letter (CND letter).

I get a call everyday from this number..I answered once and never answered again after wards...They are very rude and almost demand answers to their questions..they will not stop calling me..and they have also contacted my mother in law in regards to getting my information.

Did you send that letter to them? If so, did it work? I would like for them to stop calling me..as I have told them once already..and they still call every day.

About 2-3 times a week I will answer the phone and no one says anything.  I have started to punch in  Star69, after hanging up on them.  This is the number the calls are coming from.  I have read a few of the other posts and I find it odd that they don't even want to talk to me, yet keep calling.  Any ideas what I should do next?  My phone does not have a caller ID so I can't just ignore the phone ringing.
