Unsolicited fund raising call.

Didn't recognize the phone number so didn't answer.....     don't like using up my minutes on calls like this as I pay by the minute.....   sure wish these calls could be stopped..

At least leave a darn message

I don't have unlimited minutes & don't appreciate unsolicited calls on my cell. So much for registering on the do not call list. Also, just didn't seem kosher. I said I'd send $, but the more I think about it, the more it didn't seem right.

The DNCR does not cover not for profit organizations. Having said that, this does not mean ever charitable organization that calls is legitimate.

Solicitor called after 10 pm.  This is definitely defined under harassment.  I need the company info for my lawyer.  Any one else care to sue these pricks.

they hide domain info... must be afraid people will find out who they are and show them a new level of harassment right back.  Will post more when I get family info to call and harass them too!

Robocall - robot woman's voice asking for "Meriam", then hung up on me. Never had a robot hang up on me before.

women's voice asked for me by name and them hung up. Called back line was busy.  Really rude.

I do not know these people..... don't know the number don't want them calling my cell phone

Caller first asked for Chester...I said wrong number, then the voice  said "Oh, well maybe you can help me," and then launched into a solicitation. Said it was Darlene Lewis calling for donations for women with breast cancer who can't afford their medications. I soon realized it was a very sophisticated robocall that sounded like a person...all the right responses when I interrupted and then asked to be taken off the list. As a single, working, disabled mom, in graduate school, I can't even afford my own medication. This is sleazy!!!

Didn't leave a message.  It was right at about bedtime for my children so that didn't help with calming them down.

Robo caller asked for Lee in a mumbled voice. I said, "Sorry, what?" and the caller repeated it in the same mumbled way. I said, "Sorry you have the wrong number," then the caller said, "Oh, well maybe you can help me," and then launched into a solicitation. They called my cell phone.  I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.  Added to auto reject list.

Called my cell (on DNCR list), and I answered.   No one was there - dead silence, so I hung up.   Robo-call  !!!

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal but as far as I know, Oregon is the only one that does not allow Charity calls.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Calls and leaves no message

I don't care if it covers non-profit organizations or not... I've had a minimum of FIFTEEN calls at all hours of the day and night in less than 24 hours.  HARASSMENT.
