This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Nevada Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.nevadafop.org. Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Nevada police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

Called asking for lady of the house.  When I said she wasn't available, they said, "ok, well there really isn't a message, we'll just call back at a later time."

IF this were legitimate, the call would be coming from Nevada NOT Colorado.  The area codes in Nevada are 702 and 775.  The website given above, does not even list phone numbers to contact people.

As an add, reverse phone search does not bring up this number which is highly questionable.  This is a scam.

Received a phone call that said it was from the Nevada Fraternal Order of Police. I said I would donate and I received the form through the mail to make a donation.
They have this in California, too, and I donated in California when I lived there. The procedure was exactly the same, and I got a bumper sticker saying I supported our poilce.
Maybe one place makes all the calls for the organizations and maybe that is why the area code is from Colorado?
    Either way, it is legit.

You can be scammed by phone or you can be scammed by mail. Either way you are being scammed because police get nothing, the crooks at the call center keep most or all it all, less a few pennies for the idiotic bumper sticker.

Remember, police are paid through your taxes. The only thing the bumper sticker does is advertise the fact that you were scammed, you won't get better treatment from the police because they know perfectly well it's a scam - just ask a real law enforement officer!
