Called my cell and left no message.

Pure scam attempt. An "F" rated charity by Charity watch. If you answer tell them to put you on their do not call list.

called back and "fund raising charity cannot take your call at this time".  B.S.

They call me at all hours of the morning, which is particularly inexcusable as I'm in the same area code/state.  I've put them on my call reject list, since they will not honor the Federal Do Not Call List.

Multiple calls from this no., requested they not call. They continue to call.

called me late last night then hung up

Called three times in a row, literally ringing over each other they were so close together. Left no message, and I don't call back #s I don't know. People are saying it's a scam charity, so I'll be blocking the number as soon as I am done here.

Called last wednesday and today, 2 times each day. no message left.

Keeps calling, no message, just stop messing with people.

Rules for avoiding phone scams.
1) Do not answer calls from numbers you do not recognize, never ever.
2) Whether or not they leave a message, if the company is unknown to you or there is no message, search the number online
3) If the number does not have a legitimate website attached to it, it is most likely a scam. If there is no information about the numer other than a bank of cell phone numbers, it is probably a scam. If it is listed on a site like this one without explanation, it is probably a scam.
4) DO NOT contact the number to have them put you on a "no call" list
5) Block the number through your phone or phone company. This will prevent you from dealing with unwanted calls and the scammer will stop trying.
