Just talked to Sade' (Sha-day), who could not answer my question, "which care are you calling about?" Company is supposedly "Warranty Help Desk". I asked, "is that really the name of the company?" She said yes. I have been removed from the list 3 times. Not answering does not decrease number of calls. I doubt being removed does either. I tried calling the number back, and received a message indicating the number is not in service.
I keep getting calls from this number, concerning an auto warranty that supposedly was expired. It is a spam call, and when you press "1" to speak to a rep, the woman quickly says, "I'll remove you" and hangs up.
Received an automated call on my cell re: extending my car warranty. Pressed one to talk to a live person because I have received this call before and I don't have a car warranty. Reached "Shade" (Sha-day) who answered "Warranty Help Desk". I asked Shade for her phone number and she said she didn't have a direct line. I asked for the name of her company and she stated "Warranty Help Desk". I asked for her company's number and she said she didn't have that information. I asked for her company's address and she didn't have that information, either. I asked how she got my number and she said they deal with the major auto manufacturers regarding warranties. Note that when you search on the internet for "Warranty Help Desk", there are other numbers used by these people. When you return calls to this number or the others they use, you get a recording that the number is not a working number. Note that when you search MSN or Google for this particular number, you find this: Dawn Hill · (724) 292-0106 · 108 8th St, Monongahela, Pa. I sure hope she is not an innocent victim of this scammer.
Jacob was the "floor supervisor" for this call center. He would not give me his phone number or address but said he could give me a warranty for my car. He did say he was in Atlanta, GA. I gave him fake information to get to the warranty specialist. That company is called "Vehicle Service Inc." out of St Peter, Missouri their phone number is 866-925-1783 or 866-315-1555 Demand that they have your name removed from the call list or commit to call this company and annoy them the way their telemarketer continues to annoy us! "Butch Jones" is the supervisor there...
Thankyou for the information. I got them on line, then pushed the "0" for operator, and got a live person, who stated he would take me off the list. I hope they follow through.

If you get a call from "Warranty Help Desk", it is actually just a front for "Vehicle Services Inc" (www.vsiwarranty.com), which is selling fradualent auto insurance policies underwritten by Consumer Direct Warranty Services and several other companies. IF YOU WANT THESE CALLS TO STOP, YOU MUST FILE A COMPLAINT WITH BOTH THE FCC AND FTC. The FCC allows consumers to file a complaint whether or not your number is in the "Do Not Call" registry. The FCC complaint website is at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. FTC complaints do require that your number be listed in "Do Not Call" for at least 30 days before you can complain. The FTC complaint website is at https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. BE WARNED that Vehicle Services Inc. does NOT have ANY relationship with the manufacturer of your car; in fact they don't even know if you really own a car! They randomly call thousands of phones per day, hoping to con people into buying an "extended vehicle warranty". These warranties are NEVER a good deal for the consumer. For instance, I'm in the car business so I told them my year/make/model was a certain car I know to be worth less than $1000 (trade-in/private sale/insurance replacement). They tried to sell me an "extended warranty" on it for $2800.
