Got a call this morning.  I never answered and they left no message.  Wrong number?  In either case, it must not be very important, so don't bother calling again...

same here.  i don't answer my phone any more unless the call stays well into MY recorded message!  such a shame.  we are prisoners in our own houses thanks to these jerks that ignore the do not call list.

I answered the call.  The lady asked if I was interested in selling my timeshare with no up front fees.  In informed her I was not and I hung up.

call all the time -- never leave a message -   jerks -  i dont answer those i dont know so just give up why dontcha ???

called during supper;  couldn't even pronounce my name.  Absolutely violating the no-call list law.

My husband is getting calls from this number 2xs a day.  He never answers.  I googles and found this thread.  Not calling them back.  I don't own a timeshare

they called me just a few minutes ago asking for me but misprounouncing my name  and it sounded like a foreign male on the phone, i just told them i was not the person and could i take a message and the person hung upand said that they would call back another time, and no i do not own a timeshare, and am on the do not call list.

this is the 6th company this yr that has called me with a no cost time share
. I suspect it is the same people each time using a diffeent masked number. t screams SCAM

Received a call @ 2:50 p.m.  on 9/4/2012 - I did not answer and caller did not leave a message.  

Based on Internet information for this phone number, I am able to determine it is probably a telemarketing company of some kind  -- We are on the Indiana Secretary of State No-call zone also.

We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST with the state of Indiana, that means do not call

News two days ago commented on the Do Not Call List's failure to do what the government set it up to do and that citizens are sick of being bombarded with unwanted calls.  Obama administration responded to the news inquiry about this that the DNC List works exactly as intended.  I guess that's on par with the way the rest of our government works...meaning exactly as they intended and not working at all for us.  I didn't answer this call either.

I am sick of these people calling they calles 9XS today and I do not have time shares and I am on the National Do Not Call List something has to be done here.....

I wish these timeshare re-sale folks would not cal.

You people who [***] about being on the do not call list, you don't get it, do you? These types of calls are scammers trying to get your personal info. Bitching about being on the do not call here means nothing. Do not call list is working exactly as set up, for LEGITIMATE BUSINESSES. I can't believe the thick headedness of people on these forms that I read what they post. 99% of these types of calls are NOT legitimate businesses. So stop your whining about the do not call list, being on it, and it not working.

You're right about the DNC list being adhered to by legit businesses only.  However why do you believe people don't have a right to complain about all the scammers that call?  What's wrong with a little venting?  This website provides people a place to see that they are not alone in receiving annoying calls,
and also has lots of useful information on it about people's rights when called by scammers.

Yef, I agree, but do not blame the DnC list, because it's not the problem here.  The problem is scammers.

Just got another from them today, a week later, almost exact same time as last Friday.  The number is actually located about 30 miles north of where I live, I am going to try and track it down and take some justice into my own hands.

2 or 3 calls a day. Will not leave a message. Don;t waste your time answering this number.

I keep getting calls from this number, but when I answer and say hello, no one responds.  I've tried calling the number back, and all I get is one ring, then silence. We're on the National Do Not Call list, but it isn't helping!

They've called twice today.  Second time I picked up and he asked for my previous married name.  I said I haven't been that name in a year and he hung up.  But the voice was American.

Got one of those calls this morning, asking for my daughter-n-law that does not live here.  They finally hung up on me.
