it gets worse, they knew the last four digits of my business checking account and when I said "no, i dont want your $500 in rewards in exchange for $1.95 billed to my checking accout", they got rude lol...ummm, unsolicated call, to my cell phone from an unknown company that has the last four digits of my business checking acct???
They call their company Variety Rewards Center.

I've received a call every morning from this number for about 3 months!!
I've never answered.
Is there a way to make it stop?

Same as all.  They speak fast and try to get info and call and call and call.  The ONLY thing you need to do is say that the name of the phone line, or the owner of the cell phone is under 18.  This will make it illegal for solicitors to call and call and call.  They will put you on their NO CALL LIST and that is that, they will apologize and hang up as soon as they can and that it is IT, it is over and they don't bother you again.

These people ALREADY HAD my bank account number before I ever answered one of their calls as well.

In other words, YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS MAY HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM A DATABASE, likely by an experienced hacker. You may need to have your account number changed!

You need to report them to the *****U.S. Secret Service****. The job of investigating telemarketing fraud and theft of financial account information is now theirs. Call the Secret Service during business hours to report or send an email to the Secret Service Miami Task Force. These people are calling out of Florida.

You can also report them to the FTC, but they do not investigate individual complaints.

These people have no products or services to offer. It is all fake. If anyone says otherwise, it's someone working for their company.

At least in my case, they already had my bank account number and personal information before I ever answered the phone. It was STOLEN. These people are CROOKS. They will try to trick you into agreeing to debit your account; if that fails, they may just edit the phone conversation with a computer to make it sound as if you DID agree.

You need to report them to the Secret Service:

Include your name, address, telephone number and complete report of what happened.

Or call your local branch during business hours.

I have a cell phone that I have to buy minutes for and I hadn't used it in almost a year.  Just this morning I purchased minutes and as soon as they were added, my phone rang with this phone number (727)252-0432.  They knew my name and wanted bank account info to send me free gifts.  I immediately hung up and asked my IT Manager at work if he knew how to get them to stop.  He gave me this link to a "National Do Not Call Registry".  Once you have registered, your phone number registration will be effective for 5 years. It will be illegal for most telemarketers to call you, and you will be able to file a complaint if a telemarketer does call you.  The website www.donotcall.gov provides information about filing a complaint.

You guys need to check out the certegy data theft incident.  The thief has a business in Largo, FL - this is the same place that Variety did the direct marketing campaign.
