Caller from this number identifies this is the number for the legal affairs department for the u.s. Treasury.

Debt collection threat. I HAVE NO DEBT.  Someone needs to bust these people. How about the BBB ?

Heavy Indian accent, obviously reading from a script with heavy background noise, telling me he's from legal affairs and they are processing me for fraud.
Yeah, right.  Where do I sign up?  Oh, that's right he managed to repeat his number 5 times, taking almost 5 minutes to try and speak English.  

Same number. Indian accent, lots of back ground noise. Telling me he was from legal affairs and that I owe back taxes.  This is not their fault.  I could go to jail for 6 months and he would send someone right now to have me arrested!!! I don't owe taxes!!

Did they do something to you they just gave me the same phone call saying the same thing

Hve received 6 threatening calls from this number Indian accent office of legal affairs asking for my attorney information  
told them i had reported them to the atty generals office then they hung up

Yeah they called my work spot and cussed out my co worker

I received a phone call today from the same number claiming I owe taxes which I know I don't. So what I did was I started playing there game I continued to call them over and over again and apparently they did not like me calling over and over again like they did

I just received a call from this number, Indian guy he said I have the charges against me and I'm facing six months in jail. I told him I didn't believe him he said, "why don't you wait for my officer he will be there in 45 min to serve and arrest you" I told him I would be waiting,  still hasn't shown up I think I will call back and ask where his guy is. I do not owe any taxes at all and he said he was from the US treasury

yeah I got a call from these fools too. they told me the detectives was coming to arrest me. they didn't have my updated address in the system. idiots

I'm tired of receiving these calls. This guy is annoying.

This same Indian man has called me three times. I picked up the last time and sid he had the wrong number and person. He proceeded to yel at me and ask why i picked up the damn phone. Crazy. He also said he was from the Us Legal Department and that I had a huge legal case against me. Name was David Miller reading a script and could barely understand him. Very strong accent.

I called the number and told the guy that I was an investigator with the FERDS and he hung up. Lol the "FERDS"

I just got a message from this number he said his name is kevin harris. He then hung up and called right back. Said if I didnt call back I would have a "legal mess". Anyone else actually have an attorney call them back? I am thinking about it only because I now know it is a scam and my attorney might have some fun with this guy.

I got 4 calls from this number today: 727-302-1145 none of which I picked up. Two messages were left by a man with a heavy Indian accent compelling me to call back ASAP or I would be in enough trouble that I would need a lawyer. He claimed to be from the department of legal affairs and said his name was  Mark Wilson.

My sick father was lying in bed when these clowns called and threatened him. I noticed that his hands started trembling and I took the phone from him. He was really upset ! I started to ask questions about who they were , and they gave me another number to call.  A guy picked up and gave me a fake American name. He said that my father owed taxes ......FALSE !!!! I knew it was a scam so I told them that I called the Department of treasury and they were conducting an investigation on them. They promptly hung up , but I kept calling just to annoy them , just as they had done us . I couldn't believe that they called back again on a private number . The other number lead back to a Magic Jack. Lol

Idiots not even a good scam

Called me and left message from some lady named Sharon Martin but she couldn't speak very good English. When I called back I got some Indian guy and he said his name was Alan Green and he was from the Department of the Treasury and I owed back taxes and if I didn't pay it now he was gonna come and arrest me. I called Sheriffs Department and they called him back.

I just handled a complaint call from a citizen in my city about this number calling several times about them owing back taxes.The victim does not owe any back taxes, never has. I looked up the number on google.com and got this thread.
Plenty of people have already heard from these jackals, trying to deceive them and take them for a ride on the identity
theft train. Call the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint.
Dont call these people back, the IRS will not call you about owed taxes, you will get a letter from them in the mail.
If you have already been taken, file a report with your local police department.
Anytime you have a call like this, write down the phone number and look it up on Google. See if someone else has already had a call, then make an informed decision.
