Said they were from Lambert CPA? said I had gone to their website and now that tax season is over asked if I was going to pursue my CPA.  I do not recall ever going to their so-called website and never give out my cell phone information.  When I questioned how they got my contact information, they said they didn't call to argue with me and hung up.

Phoned and said that he is from Lambert company. When I said that I don't know such company, he answered that it was not that important and hung up.

I just got my final CPA exam score. Passed all parts now. I missed this call, but I'm not sure why I got a call in the first place.

They called me a month ago to offer me CPA training materials, I said no and they keep calling about every week.

Tell them you passed, maybe they will take you off

I am constantly getting calls from this number. I never gave them my number or went to their website. I feel like this is harassment. If I wanted their service, I would call them back. Apparently these people are not getting the message!

Got a call from Lambers saying I visited their website.  I've done no such thing as I've exclusively purchased Becker products.  They asked me how I was doing on my exam, told them I passed and they took me off the list.  When I questioned how they got my info, they said I visited their site and probably clicked on it from the AICPA's site as they are an "official" vendor.  That's bull!  I've never visited their site!!

They left a voice mail saying that it concerns my cpa exam.  Pretty crappy way to get a call back.  Luckily, I checked it out here before wasting my time.  As with the other comments I have no idea where they got my info.  Sounds like someone is selling the info that really shouldn't.

Since there was no additional information (no company name, no reference to what it is about, etc), I am assuming this is a sales tactic, which is reinforced by the other comments.  If I had called them, I would not have had them contact me on the phone number they dialed.

Keep getting calls from this number,but they never leave a message on answering machine. I have gotten at least 7 calls.

This number belongs to Lambers CPA. They call my house almost every single day and sometimes multiple times a day (the record has been 5 calls in one day). This has continued for MONTHS now. They absolutely refuse to give up calling. So I have blocked their number, but my phone still rings one time to let me know they're trying to call. It is very frustrating.

Hi Anon, my names Candy and I am calling in reference to your CPA exam. Please call me back at blah blah blah blah.  Sounds like trying to sell junk. Didn't call back. Passed the CPA exam over a year ago.

The sales pitch I received from this company was that effective today the RTRP program was back on the table and those of us who attained our RTRP designation must obtain 15 hours of CE credits.  I would have to act immediately to lock in the special CE rates thru them.  My response was that this "was News to me" and until I hear this from the IRS or my professional tax association, I'm not going to spend anything.  The caller then backed off the sales pitch.  Beware of this scam!

I just received a call from Lambert CPA calling about my CPA.  They wanted me to give them a call back since I didn't answer the phone.  I will not be calling them back after reading these comments.  I do wonder how they got my information since I have never of the company and therefore I would have not gone to their website.  

Adaptive Learning ((727) 342-7950) call about every day - nobody on the line, or at least I hang up before they bother to say anything.    When hang up they call back - again dead air - a little while later.  Total waste of everyone's time.  What do they hope to achieve?  

I unfortunately was employed by Adaptive Learning some years back in Clearwater Fl.. They buy their lists of people from all over. They had Midwestern time spans, and West Coast time spans for calling. Their discs for the program in the training sessions were good, and you don't have to learn what you already know and you're instantly graded, But when we contact you, we were required to upsell you to purchase their entire disk set. So instead of just $100 for one, they wanted us to upsell you for $1100 for the whole set. All calls are monitored by a supervisor, and should you actually get a live sale on a single disc, they hover over you encouraging you to promote and upsell and throw "catch phrases' to you to hook them. Total high pressure tactics. We were never allowed to terminate a call until approved because of their intrusive eavesdropping and there were motivational signs all over the walls encouraging us that you will say NO six times before you say YES. We had to make 300 calls a day for the quota. I quit because of their Big Brother workplace atmosphere. They changed their name and relocated, but still continuing on, business as usual. Kudo's for not falling for their scam.
