A robocall from a conservative group that is seeking to discredit Charlie Crist by presenting him as a conservative candidate. They're doing this, it would seem, by playing clips from his old campaigns.

Not making a judgement, but it's the kind of political gamemanship we see year after year.

I wish they'd just send pamphlets in the mail instead of using our telephone lines to sling mud at each other. I really do wish that the election season was much shorter so we didn't have to deal with stuff like this months at a time.

How do you end bogus robocalls like this?

Received a call from 727-350-9348.  Caller id said 'Saint Peters FL'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know, but they left a message and this was a Republican robocall.   It's too bad that we have to be subjected to this garbage.   That's not a political view; I don't want to get these calls from either side.

just received a call with edited snippets of Charlie Crist or some voice imitater designed to make him appear conservative. Despicable conservative GOP tricks; would not expect any better from Gov Scott the Medicare rippoff felon.

Got the call too. Immediately struck me as very stramge as it contained  disconnected comments from opposite ends of the political spectrum. Didn't make sense.
It appears to be a distortion of comments taken out of context.
Would like to see followup on this.

Political junk call

someone called trying to get a vote for wishy washy charlie.

It was the opposite of that; the call was directed at the progressive base to make it sound as if Charlie Crist is too conservative for them. Just one more reason to vote for Charlie in my book.

I received two calls from 727-350-9348.  My Caller Id displayed the name "Strategic Direct."  I picked up on the second call, but said nothing, and heard nothing.  When no one answers, I know it was a promotional message of some kind.  Thanks to those who identified the caller's purpose.

Got a call last that smacked of Republicans seeking to discredit Charlie Crist by misrepresenting him using bits and snippets taken from out of context comments. How pitiful that they stoop so low.

What you need to do is tell them you do not want to receive their calls, and make sure you do a opt out with all the political parties.  Then, if you receive calls, go that persons web site and under their contact us page, write them and tell them to place you on their internal dnc list and also there is a political do not call you can sign up for. I did and also tell them to use that list and give them the url for it. I have not gotten any calls for years now.  Not even political survey's.  So it does help to follow the steps.

The other thing that will help, if you have a cell phone, if it doesn't already have call blocking, there are free call blocking apps online you can get for some phones. If you have a land line, google call blocking devices. There are phones also available with call blocking but they do not hold as many numbers as devices do. Many of the devices run around 60.00

I should not have to give anything other than my phone number to stop calls from anyone. Why sign up giving another third party my information, to possibly be spread or sold to whoever......much less pay or "donate" for them to do it. Not gonna happen.
There should just be a way to legally stop all these nonsense calls that none of us want--short of disconnecting our phones.

which reminds me. I think Charlie Christ did more as a Governor for this State than the rich crook who sits in that house now.

More dirt and underhanded, dishonest tricks from the Republicans.  Exactly what you expect from a state party headed up by the evasive Scott and run by the tea party.  Vote them all out of office!  Scott changes his long-standing positions on issues now before the election to get votes and will then, if he wins, expect him to go back to being the big business/money pawn he has always been.

An annoying robo call.  Have seen that number on my phone a few times in the past couple of weeks.

I called the number today. It gave me the option of being put on the Do Not Call list.

Rick Scott is a piece of turd.  That is the nicest word I can use here.

You could not pay me  $1,000,000 to vote for him.  Yes, that is a lot of money... and that is how much my disdain for the man runs.

I have gotten more than two calls from the Robo caller claiming they are advocating for Charlie Crist for governor of Florida.  The annoying number is 727-350-9348 and I do not want to get ANY ROBO calls from any political group or individual candidate.  I don't have time for such stupid calls.  Find out who/what is behind this idiocy and STOP THE ROBO CALLS!!
