call and no message

Caller id on the tv says "Clearwater, FL."  Another junk phone call.

I got a call this morning. Left no message must be a spoofed call from a computer.

So I received a call from an unavailable number.
Then I got a call from this number.
Then another one from an unavailable number.
And finally another call from this one.

Idk who it was. They didn't leave a message

Called me this morning and left no message. Called back but got dial to be error & the number is apparently disconnected

Received a call from 727-448-0809 on 08/18/2014 at 9:14 AM, caller name ID read as "Florida."  I picked up the receiver but I did not speak, there was dead silence on the other end until the call disconnected.

Just got a phone call from this number...the caller id said it was from Florida...a recorded intro says "sorry I have dialed a wrong number" and hangs up.

I work in the data business. I'm pretty sure the call came from a phone number verification service. In other words, company "x" gives them a list of numbers, they have a robot call all numbers listening for the "out of service" message. If they don't get it, the number is good. The list of numbers is returned to company "x" with the bad numbers removed. The cost for the service is about 6 cents per dial. Company "x" tells its telemarketers that "all the numbers are good". There you go.

Two calls from this number back to back within the space of two minutes.... they hang up before I can answer after the first ring.

This number has called but leaves no message.

Caller ID said "Florida". When I answered, a recirding had already started playing saying "Sorry, I dialed the wrong number." I repsonded in my usual nice manner but didn't get a response. Then i checked here to see if actually was someone calling the wrong number. Looks like it's another robo-dialer.

Got a call from this number and I answered it and it was a recording "Sorry, I dialed the wrong number"

This caller ID showed up, didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  After that I called the number.  Recording says "We're sorry, this number has been disconnected".  Robocaller using a fake CID.  So sick of this crap - need government to instill a law to all providers, they cannot accept an outgoing call from any business that includes a number outside of the DID blocks their registered to.  That will fix this issue.

There ought to be a law.

BOY! What a bunch of $cam. This was on 9/18/14 @ 1:55 PM. Says "NOT AVAILABLE" then the #. Sure sounds fishy. Back to *60 again. Idiots Not AVAILABULL!

Obviously a Robo-call.  It's bad enough that they're probably pimping my CELL PHONE number out to whomever, but then they insult my intelligence with that flippant "Sorry, I dialed a wrong number" recording...

How is that not illegal???

I also received a call from this number. My caller ID also said Clearwater Florida on it. I never picked up the phone and have no idea exactly who this caller actually is.
