This is ExamForce. They probably got your number via a scam-type website that offers a "free" trial course, most likely Smart Certify.
You can file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry, as long as your phone number is logged with the list. It's what I did. I average one call per every 2-4 weeks from them, and have asked them since last year to stop calling me.
Unfortunately some people misunderstand how we obtain their information. I'll do my best to clear it up for you. We work with marketing partners who send ads out on our behalf. We do not have or gain any of your contact or personal information unless you specifically respond to the add, go to our website, fill out a form providing that information, and then click send. At that point we send a verification email with instructions on downloading whatever free product or service you have requested.
When you do this you establish a business relationship with our company. You have the right to ask not to contact you and we have an obligation to fulfill your request. It is our strict policy to immediately add you to the Do Not Call/Do Not Contact list, which we maintain rigorously.
If you, after asking for us not to contact you, again respond to an advertisement and again provide us with your contact information, we can then contact you again.
I did not receive any email from you asking for you to call me. I do not leave phone numbers other than job searches, so you are braking the law to begin with by solicting and calling people who don't want you to call them
I just received a call from 727-507-9646 on my cell phone. I do not give this particular number out to anyone but family so, pretty obvious they did not get it from me. This number is also on the do not call list. Sounds like a scam.
Yeah, I was looking for info on certifying. I even talked to one of your 'representatives' once and was told that ExamFarce was the only company on Earth that could provide me with certification material. Your people are pushy (I've received 2 calls in the past 2 hours) and misinformed.
"We do not have or gain any of your contact or personal information unless you specifically respond to the add,"
BS. I have never responded to one of your ads. And even if I inadvertently did so, it would have been some time ago and before I had this number.
Not sure where you are harvesting your numbers, but you might want to rethink it. Unsolicited calls to a federal contractor cannot be looked upon kindly.
I too am a federal contractor and have to responded to any or you ads. I have gone to your web site to opt out of anything I may or may not have filled out in the past. You do not provide any options to opt out!
The only way I found to contact you with out entering any more information was on the Guarantee page:
Guarantee We are so confident that you will pass any corresponding exam by using ExamForce's CramMaster, that if you fail the test we will refund your purchase!
To qualify for a refund you must:

Be the registered purchaser

Fail the corresponding exam twice (no time limit )

Contact our Customer Service Department at (800) 845-8569 or via email at customerservice@examforce.com to claim this guarantee and provide your proof of purchase along with copies of failing exam notices for both failed attempts

Return the corresponding software

I am providing this information for people who would like to contact customer service in an effort to keep you from calling them.
One of their operators recently called me twice with in three minutes! I do not need this harassment at work.
I have repeatedly asked your employees to remove my number from your call lists, yet I still receive calls every few weeks. It appears that you need better oversight and enforcement of your policy to restrict employees from contacting consumers who have asked not to be contacted.
Company has called me repeatedly over the past 3 years even though I express my desire for them to quit calling. Quit answering a couple years ago because I recognize the number. So annoying that I finally called them and got a manager and told him I'm on DNC registry and must I call the FTC to get them to stop calling.
For all those on the DNC list, take them to a small claims court - you can claim $500 for EACH call you receive from them. Check out this link from MSNBC last year about a guy who did this on a regular basis and made some decent cash: http://redtape.msnbc.com/2007/02/suing_telemarke.html
Got a call from "Barbie" using my first name only, saying she is having a hard time reaching me at the number "I provided". Turns out this is a call from Exam Force. The return number that was left was to call 800.845.8569, but the caller ID showed as 727.507.9646
This number calls me a couple times a week and NEVER leaves a voicemail. It is Exam Force and they must have gotten my number because I tried their course software for free a few months ago. I don't remember giving their permission to call, but they probably never gave me the option to decline communication. They're just another company that refuses to leave you alone, not taking the hint that if you don't ever answer their calls, they aren't welcome to call back.
