I got a call from this number of all numbers. It was this evening around 6 m.  I didn't answer because it said 555-1234, very suspicious.  What is this area code about anyway?

Received call this morning around 11:08am on my new cell.  My brand new phone number is not even two weeks old and have already received over a dozen different unknown, unsolicited, and unwanted phone calls like this one.  Already registered on the Do Not Call site.  I would never answer anyways during the day as I do not believe any of these intruders would pay my wireless bill.  No message was left, so I guess it wasn't important enough of a call to be bugging me in the first place.

They left a message... first part was cut off... offering a 3 day trial on some service (could not understand what kind) and had an option to press a phone key "to be taken off the list"

6/5 @12:55 on business line.  pressed 9 to be removed...like that'll ever happen

Received call from this number, before you even say hello a recorded message starts on something about AutoAnswer Service, hung up before it got any further.

Called my business cell phone twice today, and it was a pre-recorded message about an answering service with a 3 day trial.   First time I pressed 9 to be removed, second time I pressed 1 to speak to a representative.   I got a woman on the line who answered "Contact Solutions, how may I help you?" and started asking her questions about the company, and the only thing she would provide me was the business name to which I responded, which was "Easy Answering" and city, which is Montebello CA.   I informed her that their company had violated federal law twice today by using a pre-recorded message to call a wireless number and she apologized, and removed me from the list.    We'll see how far that goes.

Automated call from this number for "Contact Solutions". Pressed 1 for more info but got disconnected.
I thought it was illegal to spoof caller id information?

10:53am Tuesday June 17, 2008 this number called on my Business Cell too. Didn't answer a** 555 is not a valid exchange and this number is on teh DoNotcall list. This is not a valid number as it cannot be called back.  who do we report this kind of spoof to?

727-555-1234 showed up on my caller ID as Dir Asst, FL.....some kind of scam no doubt

Rec'd call on 6/17/08 at 5:02pm from 17275551234.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave message.

This number should not be so rude to call this company they need Jesus.

Received an unwanted call from this number.  Listened to the message because I have learned that these automated calls give you an option not to be called again.  Pressed 9 to be removed from their calling list and hung up.  Tried to use my phone immediately following the hang and had no dial.  I had not dial tone for a good 30 seconds if not longer after hanging up. They not only call and disturb you with THEIR SELF SERVING GARBAGE but they also tie up your phone.  I am also on the do not call list.

I got a call in the afternoon sometime but was to busy to answer my cell. After work I check it and found this number. It looked like a TAXI number but 'with an area code?'... So I dialed it and got "VERISON" general mail box stating the business office was closed and to call back during normal business hours....

These bastards called my do-not-call number several times, I never answer, they never leave a message.

Too bad that Caller-ID numbers can be spoofed :-(

They called with an id of "Dir Asst" 727-555-1234 (clearly, a spoof number). Some pre-recorded message. I'm in South Florida.

I hope they get hit my a fricken meteor.

Someone from 727-555-1234 called me at 1:56PM Sat Mar 28, 2009.  Anyone who calls from a number like this with no real info is not someone I want to deal with.

Call from Directory Assistance: 727-555-1234...Typical crap phone call as usual.  Didn't answer, hope it goes away.

Got same call. Heard prerecorded sales pitch. Punched in1 indicating I was interested and was connected to Ben. Got the name and website. Here is correct info. May be a scam or why would they hide behind a fake number
