I have been receiving calls today from this number.  Nobody is ever there.  Every other call I have received from the 727 area code has been a company who wants to buy a timeshare I haven't owned in several years.

Same here - this number has called me a number of times - no answer, just a hang up.  I'm in North Carolina?  Where is everyone else from?

Called and hung up!  Annoying.

Please! can someone help me stop this madness, Monday thru Sat. Allways starting @ 7:00 A.M California time I start getting these calls, no one answering  and goes one two or three times a day! Being on the do not call does not matter.

I received a call from this number and no message was left.  We have been getting a lot of calls from this number.

We continue to receive calls from this number with "unknown name" on caller ID. When we answer the call no one is there. AT&T said the number is a landline # rather than cell #, but not isn't an AT&T customer. I have left messages that we are on the do not call list too, but it doesn't seem to matter. So far this AM we have gotten 3 calls and I am ready to call the Annoyance Call Bureau @ 1-800-582-0655 to see if they can do anything about stopping the calls.

Several calls from this number, no message ALSO no answer when I pick up the phone.  Stop the insanity at once.

I did call the Qwest Annoyance Call Bureau about this number: they can do nothing as it is probabaly from a telemarketer who is using and auto-dialer.  According to the option robo-voice, telemarketing calls are legal in most states as they are legitimate attempts to sell mechandise.

My question is: why doesn't the Federal Do Not Call directory block these commercial calls?

I went to the FCC web page (fcc.gov) and filed a complaint. Maybe this will put an end to the calls!

They are calling daily.  Twice yesterday.  It clicks off when I answer.  If I let the maching pick up it hangs up.  I think someone answered one time and I couldn't understand what she said.  I asked to be placed on no call like and they still keep calling.

I'm in Michigan.  Why can't we stop this or at least find out who they are so we can contact them.  It's a British sounding answering service when you call it back.  The woman that I actually got sounded a little oriental because I couldn't understand the name of the company but I did ask that she put me on their no call list but they are still calling.

They kept calling and I answered but nobody on the line. Finally got a woman - said she was from some resort place - I told here to stop calling or I'd file an FCC complaint - she said "not with that attitude". I filled an FCC complaint at FCC.GOV

calling about a time share called my husband a poopy head (twice) when he said no interest

I keep receiving calls from this number 1-727-565-1371. There is no one there when I answer. They have called 12 times in the last 24 hours, 3 times this morning between 9-10am. I tried using my cell phone to call the number and I get an answering machine with a British woman's voice stating the party I am calling is not available and to leave a message. No sooner did I hang up when they called my house phone once again. I took the phone off the hook.

Calls constantly - 5-6 times daily, never leaves messages and when we answer, hangs up immediately.  This has been going on for weeks.  We are very annoyed and tired of this, can anyone stop this number!

Since I live here in this area code, I called them but got a recorded message of a foreign sounding woman saying "the person you are trying to reach is not available, please leave a message after the beep".

I hung up...a minute later they called me back. I didn't pick up

Called six times in three hours, left no message.  I wasn't home.
