I don't answer ANY unknown calls.  This on occurred twice within 5 minutes, was "Unavaible" on the caller id & of course left no message.

Got one regarding energy savings.

Telemarketing call, the recorded announcement mentions the "Federal Stimulus" package contained energy saving incentives and I should "press 1" to speak with someone now about this limited opportunity. Can't someone please stop these types of calls???  Our number has been on Federal Do Not Call List for many years.

This is Tropic Guard in Largo, FL. They are a horrible, disrespectful company that uses a calling list that they have from the government's old "My Safe Florida Home" program to harass people at home with repetitive phone calls. I have been receiving recorded messages 2x a day from them for the past week and off and on before that. They use various phone numbers such as 727-687-2046 and 727-596-7861 to keep calling.... sometimes they leave the recorded message and other times no message but the phone number shows on my caller id so I know it is them. Usually no name shows on caller id but once showed Tropic Guard name on caller id. Their message talks about having their free energy evaluation done to receive federal stimulus $ but they don't say who they are on message. You would have to press "1" to find out which would then transfer you to someone. I have reported them to Do Not Call Registry. From what I can see on the Internet, they have been doing these illegal repetitive calls for several years but no one has stopped them obviously.
